"We are REALLY lucky to have Piedmont Cafe. The affordable greasy spoon diner is a dying breed anyway, but this place? I also think they would benefit heavily from utilizing a space out front for a table or two outside if at any way possible; I know the location makes it tough but it's definitely been done up and down the street in different spots. Ever since Gaylord's closed there's a gap that needs filled for a place to study and have breakfast late that isn't Denny's. Anyway, if it ain't broke don't fix it, but just some ideas for them to consider, to keep them thriving so they stay viable and with us forever! "

"There's no 3.5 or else, that's what I would've given it. Pros: roll size pretty big, thick cuts of sashimi and nigiri, fish taste fresh, and reasonable prices. Cons: The Miso Soup soup lacked flavor to me, it really taste like nothing. The Seared Salmon Nigiri with Lemon was missing the lemon. If you're advertising something, it should come as is. Also, the cut of salmon on my Titanic was terrible. So chewy, not good at all! The packaging could be better, they put a blob of wasabi in between the rolls that almost looked like avocado. Just be cautious."

"The Okonomiyaki was incredible! Full of flavor and a generous portion. As usual the rolls are delicious and fresh, and the Veggie Gyoza is a nice side to go with everything. Great spot!"
"Food is good but take a pass on the Wagyu steak. It's $36 for what amounts to be about 3oz of steak, max. Wholly, 100% not worth it, I am sad to say. The whole 'meal' literally only fills half of the take out container - the two small pockets. One pocket with rice, another with slaw, and TINY TINY strips of steak on top. The large pocket of the container is completely empty. So in short, it's a rip off. I don't get angry about these things often, but this is one of those times where I am legit angry about what I got."

"Wow! Delicious gem of a restaurant. Shared the Rib Eye Steak & Eggs with the hubby and it was delicious. Good price for the amount of food you get, it also comes with a piece of acme toast & potatoes which were perfect! Rib eye was grilled well, small salt/pepper packets is included to season to your liking. Bag came stapled which was greatly appreciated. I wish they gave butter for the bread & some a1 or worsterchire for the steak. Other than that it was a straight to the point great meal! "

"This is one of the only reliable quality restaurants on DoorDash. The portions in the mini jars is pretty small for the price, occasionally ridiculously so, but the quality is consistently good. "the purple rice is a nice touch. Kindof expensivebut very well done. the ROCK AND ROLL and SPICY TUNA ROLL were especially good.
on the other hand I didn'tlike the Wakame Salad which i felt was a bit too soupy and lacking in crunch versus others I've had. thankfully at least it was not over sweet.
the CALIFORNIA ROLL was good but not amazing.It's your basic california roll with excellent ingredients. you can choose to get one with real crab if you like but it's a bit spendy.

"The curry is savory, well spiced and flavorful. The chicken karaage is amazing. The rice is perfectly cooked, moist and fresh. i wish it was packaged a bit differently. There were separate containers for the same curry and rice that were half full when they could've combined them. If you like each serving separated than you'll like this. It was just a lot of containers for me."
"I think there needs to be a proper and detailed review as Japanese curry is one of my favorite dishes:
Portion size:
Half of the container was filled with curry...half. Pork cutlet was the size of a childs hand, the rice was the only decent size portion. To pay for extra portion would not have been worth it considering this was a bit expensive already. (See pictures below)
Flavor:
the beef curry itself had a sweeter / spicier flavor profile. Not too salty, hefty in consistency. Personally no complaints there. I like my curry more on the savory side but every place is different.
Pork cutlet was somewhat moist, but lacking in seasoning, even a bit of salt could've went a long way.
Packaging:
Excellent
Would i order again? Maybe but only if portions are better, and seasoning the pork cutlet happens.
