"We ordered for the first time Thursday night. Both of us were craving fried chicken. To test them out, we got a family Signature Chicken + Tenders Family Meal (fried chicken, tenderloins, biscuits, fried potatoes) and added beans and rice, plus a Chicken Sandwich. Delivery was great - even a bit early. The fried chicken was great - moist meat, fully cooked but juicy, excellent crispy coating. The beans and rice were also superb- flavorful, just enough spice, generous with the beans. I wish I could Stop There. But.... the "tenders" (of which technically there were the right number - six) were tiny (each would fit on a tablespoon) ,completely dry, and could not have been "made fresh". No way I will try those again. And the "biscuits" had probably been made hours before (along with the tenders?) - dry, crumbly, impossible to cut, and feeling/looking deep fried. Maybe brushed with melted honey butter? Left in a waiting drawer until I ordered? Possibly useful as hockey pucks? Oh, and only 4 of the intended 6 arrived - but that's ok, as we wouldn't have eaten more.
The chicken in the sandwich was good, but the bun did not survive its trip to us - toaster oven helped a bit. The fries were while warm and crispy, but they have an odd taste when they cool off. And reheating has not restored their original glory
So - order the friend chicken. And the beans and rice. Skip the rest. "
