"Good is usually really great but it was off today. Macaroni & Cheese noodles were overcooked and mushy. Sweet potatoes had a tart butter taste. The Ox Tail (Small) had more fat than meat. I'm really sad. I also asked for the white rice with sweet potato and the Mac on the side but got the Mac with my rice and a very large portion of sweet potato on the side in a separate container. A few favorites I keep coming back to: the Veg Grilled Cheese Panini, Dal Makhani, and Hakka Noodles. And honestly, what really sets this location apart are their “Norristown Special” dishes. They don’t feel like random menu add-ons. They taste like true chef specials. I’ve been trying my way through them and I’m genuinely impressed. Every time I think I’ve found my favorite, the next one surprises me.
What makes Indian Hut stand out even more is how they treat customers. Things don’t have to be perfect every single time, but when something is off, they handle it the right way. Aman's more than delivers (they do dine in, too). Every dish we had was superb. Their Saag Paneer was especially flavorful and had a great texture—a difficult feat for many to accomplish.
