"The presentation was great as always...and I loved the red-skinned potatoes. However, the "ham" and eggs portion of this Benny breakfast was a nightmare. An absolute miserable eating experience. I'm very particular about what I eat and how it looks, tastes etc. The ham was very stiff. And the outer band of the ham absolutely didn't help matters. The eggs were a little better, but they were scorched. Again, this is an isolated incident with Denny's, as my usual experience with them is top notch. "The brioche sweet bread has a weird texture. I've had this brioche plenty of times from other locations, their breads are always fresh, soft, fluffy and sweet. The one I had today from this Torrance location was completely the opposite, There's no sweetness in the brioche, it taste like a regular bread you get from the market to make a sandwich, and the quality was not as fresh. As for the blueberry pastry, The blueberry filling inside was not fluffy like whipped cream as usual, it was wet and flattened.. seemed old or left out in the sun.
