"If you like spicy chicken sandwiches then you have found the holy grail. Incredibly juicy chicken breast with the perfect amount of breading. Not over breaded like Popeyes and not under breaded like Chic-Fil-a.
The spice level is subjective, I usually opt for hot but if I want some heat I will go with extra hot. If you have a lower tolerance, go with medium and below.
French fries are solid too, shake shack style crinkle-cut but with better seasoning and a bit more crispy. Dip the fries or the sandwich in "Dave's Special Sauce" if you want to help cool things down and it tastes good too.
If it's your first time, I recommend going in person as the wait with DD will probably have the food soggy by the time it hits your doorstep and leave a bad first impression. The take-out containers are not vented so all the moisture given off from the hot food gets trapped. Don't be surprised if you get there and see a line out the door! That's normal and it moves fast. "

"I did not know Cottage Inn was this good. The deep dish pizza is perfect with an airy crust instead of a heavy deep one. Flavors are outstanding. But I have to say the steak and cheese sub was the best I've had in my life. It's overly stuffed with meat and veggies in a great way and comes with homemade ranch on the side. "I would have loved it but I ordered the large Garlic Cream Cheese and got 3 small ones. 2 of them weren't very good the 3rd one was just okay. I don't think they should have been in the box with the hot food either, it made something that's better and made to be cold taste way off. Honestly, it ruined a great go to craving while in town. This one experience does not ruin future visits, I still will order again."
