"You can tell immediately the quality of the food is excellent. I'm really glad this place is in Lowell. My Mango Lassi was great and the crinkle-cut fries were delicious which is very rare for crinkle cut (they can sometimes taste really mealy and gritty, but not these!). "There are so many of these local pizza and sub shops that all seem to use the same suppliers with the same generic ingredients, and each of them tend to have an item or two that stand out from the others. The Italian sub at Lakeside is one of these items. The ingredients always just seem fresher than at other places. Crisp, fresh produce, and the deli meat is never slimy.
