"Going out of my way to leave a long, positive review for them because they have been great whenever I order from them. Lomo Saltado / Sautéed Loin is excellent and fairly potioned/priced. They gave me 2 containers of Aji Sauce (the spicy green sauce) for the saltado. They cooked my requested Huevo / Egg overeasy how I wanted it, and the Inca Kola was very cold and tasty - a bit like Fanta Pineapple. Salchipapa (a Peruvian appetizer which is pretty much a cut up hot dog with fries) was tastier and a little more hot dog than other Peruvian places that I've tried. i appreciate that they included ots of ketchup, mayo, and a container of Mustard! The little things like being considerate enough to include the right sauces, which a lot of the bigger online ordering places will fail to do, shows that they pay attention to their customers. I highly recommend this place and would advise to put the menu items in English first and Spanish second, to bring in more traffic, but just my opinion."

The Meat in the Tallarín Saltado de Carne / Sautéed Noodles with Meat was kinda dry, the Pollo Extra / Extra Chicken they didn't put it on the side like I asked, and both meats they skimped on, not good portions. The Huevo / Egg I requested overeasy, and they got it to me over medium, and the Ají Verde / Green Pepper was really watery. Not to mention, whoever works there didn't secure any of the lids because a lot of the sauces spilled out into the plastic bag."

"I drove by this place a couple times and was excited that a new Indonesian place was opening up. It's a really nice and cozy cafe that serves old school pastries, the kind I would eat in my childhood. When I moved to the States, you can't really find those pastel, kroket, risoles, or lemper, not many restaurant sells them, or even makes them from scratch. So when I saw all these pastries, I went crazy and I knew this place would fill the missing parts of my immigrant life here. I would say this is one of the only place that would bring back all those nostalgic memories before moving to LA and I would drive 1 hour just to get that fresh, made from scratch pastries. I haven't found any other Indonesian cafe that would bring back all my happy childhood memories of hanging out with my friends at a cafe, eating pastels & risoles with chili and sambal (the real one, not that fake wannabe bullcrap from HuyFong).
Now let's talk about the plate lunch. This is some true, authentic home cooked meal, just like how our family would them back home. It's has been a struggle to find a super juice, tender, mouth watering Indonesian meal. Chicken satay? Extraordinary. Pork satay? Out of this world. Ox tail soup? Not even a single restaurant can beat Kedai's ox tail soup. Beef rendang? Just like home.
Oh and the coffee? Stop going to Starbucks that serves fake coffee using Indonesian island as their name, you're better off going to the real place that serves the real, authentic, imported Indonesian coffee for the same price. If you have a doubt about this, my last name is Indonesian as hell, I grew up there, and I approve this as one of the most ethnic & authentic cafe."
"My favorite lunch plate from this place is Oxtail soup. The broth is so rich and perfect for this cooler weather! My husband loves their pastries, especially Pastel and Risoles. We also love the Pempek (deep fried fishcake). Although their menu is not as expansive as other Indo restaurants, their food is definitely authentic Indo food. I don't know if they messed up my order or what but the bottoms line is I did not get what they are advertising. The pupusas are also very small so I was not happy nor satisfied. The rice was also extremely tiny for $3, and it was bland. Will not be purchasing from them again."
