"For context, before this review I was an infrequent user of DoorDash, and totally unfamiliar with The Burger Den. However, after a long day in the field that turned into a longer evening of paperwork in my hotel room, DoorDash and The Den were a high convenience, low expectation choice. To my pleasant surprise, I was totally blown away by both this evening! Here are some highlights…
1. Delivery. Crazy fast! I think the Dasher beat the estimate by 10-15 minutes. Bravo!
2. Order. I had the Vibe with Shrooms with standard Wavy Fries. Since order came from > 5 miles (which could take 3 days in LA!), I had resigned myself to the usual soggy, delivery fries. Instead, I was greeted by the waft of HOT, CRISPY slabs of perfectly seasoned potato goodness, and ample ketchup packets to go with.
Let’s talk burger... Patty. PERFECT cook and temp. Brioche bun. Soft, sweet, and on point. Shrooms and onions. Sautéed and portioned with finesse that usually doesn’t come wrapped in foil and served in a cardboard box. Last stop, cheese. Folks, the cheese was so hot and stringy that it got caught in my beard! (Yes, I'm saving it for later. Gross, I know, but I gotta be me, and the cheese was sooo gooood!).
3. Surprise of the evening. I almost fell over when I realized that The Burger Den is a virtual brand of Denny’s?!? Before today, I wouldn't think Denny's capable of the best gastropub-esque burger I've had in years! Truly, I’m impressed, and I’ll be back!

"1st time ordering everything was well portioned great flavor they gave you enough dressings for everything you ordered. The ranch was advertised as made in house which was delicious. The bread sticks were great not overly seasoned or you can't eat it. The salad is fantastic enough to share with everybody. The hot wings were delicious real meat not all like cardboard, paper meat, very chunky, healthy chicken wings I love the company name and the boxing and the checkered parchment paper. Well marketed. I look forward to ordering from pizza pirate again and also going into their storefront location."

The fries had no crisp on it, and almost no seasoning. Idk if I would order again, but I still think this place has potential. The price point to food portion ratio is amazing!
