"This used to be my favorite spot. The hosts at the front were always welcoming and nice. The food used to always come with free water, it was a decent sized portion not a lot but enough to make sure you were full. There were funny pictures of chickens in designer clothing at the front while you waited. I knew the first time I tried here it was the perfect spot for my family and I. We ordered from here quite frequently. The rice was covered with chicken and white sauce. To where you couldn't even see the rice at first. Higher prices, food is completely different in every way. Except the fries. The food itself is not bad but it missed that homey feeling it used to have. The chicken... is interesting. The Salad was very good. You are charged for white sauce but get the smallest amount of white sauce is put on the chicken. A very disappointing change.
If you want food, this is a decent choice but not the first choice for me any longer. Long live Halal heat."

It was a deliciously generous portion of paella rice cooked in sofrito and topped with pan-roasted herb-crusted chicken, artichokes, and mushrooms. While the dish was not as seasoned as I would ordinarily like, given I have high blood pressure following an accident, it was perfect for me because I could taste that all the ingredients were fresh and treated with care by the chef - especially the mushrooms, which were earthy and perfectly aromatic. If they add a bit more garlic and herbs to the rice, it would have been much tastier, but as it is, the restaurant already far exceeded expectations.
