The Crab Rangoon contained no seafood or meat filling and was neither sweet nor salty, lacking any real flavor. Overall, I am deeply dissatisfied after spending over 100 dollars on food that seemed reheated, leftover, and poorly prepared. I will never spend another cent at this restaurant. If I could feature this place on a food show to expose its flaws, I would. The terrible taste of the food makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen. Save your money and order from elsewhere. "I have eaten at this place in person before too (chicken pho specifically) which was really good. Today I ordered a vegetarian combo bun chay and it came warm and delicious. Lots of fresh vegetables, fried vegetarian egg rolls, and tofu. For utensils, they give you chopsticks, spoon, and a toothpick - which is so important (in my opinion). The fish has NEVER ONCE tasted off/stale/fishy in any way nor has it ever been spongy or discolored. It always tastes fresh and is consistent in quality. The portion of the 3 roll lunch special ~($16) is also very good.
tuna avocado rolls (with eel sauce for an extra .75 cents) or the brooklyn salmon rolls on the "Any 3 Rolls Lunch" is one of my go-to orders on this campus.
They are also very fast to prepare it, sometimes it will be ready in like 5 minutes from when I order. It is never a long wait. I have never dined in, but the store does appear clean and the staff have always been polite and prompt when I pick up the order.
I rarely leave reviews, but oriental cafe has earned my review."
