Parts of it were overly bitter and other parts were overly sour and then the tofu was completely bland and overcooked. I didn't want to write a bad review for them because I like this store. I order from sumittra regularly and I've noticed over the last few months they have more and more off days when I do delivery or pick up. This time I did DoorDash and I paid $42 dollars and change for nasty Pad Thai (GF) that got thrown out and Veggie Spring Roll (Por Pia). The spring rolls were fine but they werent their best either. The noodles were wonderful, miles better than the other places I've ordered Pad Thai. The portion was generous and delicious, and the choices of protein provided more choice than any place else I've had it in town. The crispy chicken is a generous portion, probably 65-70g worth of protein, on a bed of fresh veggies and plantains. The veggies have some pickled beets and peppers I think, giving a nice tang against the sweet plantains and the savory chicken. 10/10 easy. And the owner is very nice"

I understand that things are more expensive nowadays but $20.47 before tax for the Chicken Adobo Rice Bowl is a bit much for me personally. You do get a decent portion about 2-2.5 cups of rice with a handful of raw baby tomatoes and cucumbers along with a scoop of chicken. The chicken is seasoned wonderfully but I wish there was more in the bowl and the rice is plain I prefer it seasoned or cooked in a broth. ( I mixed mine before taking the picture :( but you can still get a clear picture of what you're getting with the Chicken Adobo Rice Bowl) The Brazo de Mercedes Slice is delicious it's not a dessert I've ever had before so it's a wonderful treat! It's not overly sweet it's very light and fluffy dessert which I love. Overall I would definitely love to go inside the store to compare prices and freshness"
