"Hubby ordered from his DD app. We had heard good things about this restaurant. I had house fried rice. Huge shrimp, huge chunks of spam but I saw no other proteins. Mostly spam.
There was no flavor at all. I had to add my own flavor here at home.
Hubby got Island Fire Chicken. It was very Sweet and very little spice. And he said the chicken was very overcooked and dry. Overall he liked the flavor but he couldn't enjoy it. Mac Salad was good he said.
I think we will not order again. It seemed to be fairly fresh but there was nothing remarkable about the food to make us want to give them another try."

"It was a big red flag when after placing an order, it was ready to pick up in under 4 minutes. The shrimp they use are frozen and a mushy texture, not a quality item. I ate two of the six large shrimp and couldn't with the rest. I actually enjoyed the sautéed cabbage that the shrimp were resting on..it had all the garlic juices on it and was great with the rice. Mac salad was mediocre needed seasoning and missing a little sweetness. I wouldn't say this meal represented a Hawaiian quality and flavor at all. The meal was $20 and tasted like $10"

Although the food arrived quite expeditiously from the time I placed my order, it wasn't as warm as I was expecting. The one rib I got was cold and the beef was room temperature. Also, the beef was a combo of chopped and small quarters, which I wasn't expecting. I was hoping for full bite-sized pieces. My chicken was tender but semi-dry in some pieces. I'm not certain of I ordered on a bad day but, my food has always been piping hot when I got it home (I live minutes from the restaraunt). I was also disappointed in the portions. In the past, I had enough food for two servings. However, not today. Seems like everywhere else; prices go up and portions go down. My scoops of rice and macaroni were so small, I couldn't believe my eyes. I may try again but it will be a moment due to my disappointment."
