"Chinese take out done RIGHT. Tried this on a whim when craving a Wonton Soup. SO glad I did, will be my new go to. The ingredients were fresh and portions were great. Presentation was nice too with excellent prices compared to ordinary takeout. This is what Chinese take out USED to be where things were prepared fresh in house and prices were reasonable. If I'm spending $50 on Chinese food for one to two people, I want it to be fresh and from a chef that cares what theyre putting out. Beef & Bok Choy was excellent and fresh, huge portion enough for left overs. Spicy Sichuan Crispy Chicken (All Natural White Meat) was excellent. The Wonton Soup dumplings tasted homemade and broth was excellent. Tried the Cheeseburger Egg Roll (1 pc) and Classic Pork Egg Roll (1 pc) , no regrets. Excellent all around. I hope this place is here to stay long time!"
"Not your average Chinese restaurant. It's excellent. I've ordered several times now and it's always great regardless of what I order. They deserve to realize their dream of having a Nice Day on every town. Only downside is that it's a little more expensive than standard Chinese - but for the quality you get it's worth every penny!"

"The Shrimp Tempura Roll was good as always. I wanted to try something new and ordered the Chicken Katsu Don and it tasted amazing! It's the same chicken as if you ordered chicken katsu, but with fried egg, rice and veggies with an almost beef/brothy taste to it and a massive portion for the $15. I didnt think I would like it but will be ordering it often now."
"I usually have great food from Kumo but this time the Yum yum sauce was spilled all over the food inside the bag and made the bag soggy. Shrimp was overcooked and steak was tough. I paid so much money for mediocre food. The teriyaki sauce was watered down."

"When I first started to order off doordash they included so much food. Now when I order lunch I get very little. They no longer add an egg roll and they're charging for the yum yum sauce. "Great place great taste always fresh! I always gets the HIBACHI CHICKEN COMBO BOX the crab ragoon tastes amazing chicken amazing I love this place."
"The beef was tough, gristly and tasteless. Seems more boiled than grilled as did the shrimp which was sparse, tasted frozen and was tough. The "cole slaw" was just undressed shredded cabbage and the fried rice was just greasy rice with what could have been a tiny bit of egg included. The "Yum" sauce was not well packaged and had almost completely leaked out by the time it was delivered. Altogether the meal was unappetizing and expensive. Will not order here again. "

"Everything was really tasty and had a good depth of flavor. However, I only got 1 small piece of Cod when all of the pictures online show 2. For $18 thats a little crazy when its only half the size of the palm of my hand. I also feel like I got a little less Wagyu than what I would've gotten if I went in person. However, everything I did get was delicious. So i will be ordering again."
"Heart great things about this restaurant but wife not feeling well so thought would surprise her with take out order. Ordered to pick up on way home from work, DoorDash said order would be ready 5:10pm. Arrived at 5:20 and told it would be 25 more minutes; friendly and apologetic that cook had just opened kitchen.
Came back at and was warmly greeted, given bag; noticed right away it was awfully light for almost $75 (4 items). Got home and saw why, only thing as pictured was the Signature Jako Salad . Black Cod Yuan Yaki was given only one piece even though two pieces shown in picture. American Wagyu Beef Curry Rice was about 2/3rds portion as pictured, much smaller oval container used rather than round one pictured. Pork Short Ribs Kakuni was a bit smaller than pictured. So, very disappointing portion sizes given price.
Taste-wise, Cod was terrific, very well marinated and cooked, just wish there was more. Curry was very good, but also small portion and still hungry after finishing it. Salad really wanted to like it but was just too salty. Short ribs ok, but also a little on salty side, but very tender.
Really wanted to like things but disappointed at the 35+ min lateness to order and while already a little pricey (quality ingredients, totally get it) the portion sizes were not as pictured. Much better value at the Loop (same owner) two blocks down the road.

"Large Oxtail dinner and small order of only Jerk chicken were both really delicious. They followed all special instructions/requests accurately down to the last detail. The portion size to price ratios were decent and appropriate as it relates to the meat. For example, they didn't overfill the oxtail dinner container with the rice & peas and cabbage to take up more room resulting in less meat being added. The meat portion was what I would expect (but not always so), surprisingly adequate and what it should be. I wish I had gotten my order of Tamarind balls but everything else was on point."

"Definitely a cut above other competitors. Fresh ingredients, well-textured, and thoughtfully prepared. Portions were abundant. The flavor profile of the String Bean Garlic Soy was exquisite. The Pad See Ew was awash with mixed produce and crispy tofu, not mostly noodles and cheap vegetables like you come to expect from lower-priced restaurants. The Moo Tod could have been a little softer, but the marinade it was soaked in made up for it. Prepared quickly and packaged very professionally. Will definitely order again."
"The Thai Hot Wings And string Bean Garlic Soy were top tier, especially the Thai Hot Wings. The wings were flavorful, big portioned, and delicious. I thought it might be too spicy but they're just right. Pad See-Ew Noodle was nice too but I wasn't given the wide noodles, so sad. Would order again!"

"It was super good, the rice come separate from the meat, the miso soup was good too. It was greasy and seeped through the bag. Comes with duck/soy sauces along with a small container of yum yum sauce"
"The portions were small, and the forgot 2/3rds of the order. Their packaging also doesn't reflect our amount with the cost of the food. The one entree that we got did look fresh but only included four pieces of beef which is concerning when the dish is beef and broccoli. While fresh the beef just tasted like it was seasoned with Worcestershire sauce and nothing else.
Overall, I won't be ordering from here again. Between the portions, the fact that they didn't include most of the order, the packaging, and most importantly the cost I'm incredibly disappointed by this restaurant."

"Our first time getting food from Donburiya Cafe. So glad to find this cafe with some of my favorite foods of Japan and Korea. We both liked our meals. Fresh ingredients, good sized portions. Plenty of beef in my Japchae. Spouse liked his salmon. We will certainly order from them again. I can tell you right now I will order my fave Oyako-don next time! I was a bit disappointed with the small size of the yuzu dessert cake slice especially at the price. All our dishes were more pricey than I expected but given the high cost of food these days it is understandable. We will order from them again!"
"I really like this restaurant and the food was good. However, I received a lot of rice but not much meat. The portion size of the veggies was fair. This is a light meal to eat. "I had never tried the Hamden Poke moto. It was healthy delicious the vegetables were very fresh. Seaweed is optional but I love it and it was delicious. I tried chicken & shrimp with all types of veggies and a light miso dressing. Next time I would ask for a little extra dressing. But as lunch dinner or snack it was great!!!!!"

"The sushi/sashimi at Sayori Sushi
is EXCEPTIONAL. DELICIOUS,
FRESH FISH, MODESTLY PRICED.
The Salmon Lover is a GENEROUS
helping of SCRUMPTIOUS Japan-
ese raw fish. 4 nigori Shake, and 6
double-thick Sashimi slices with a
6-piece Shake roll. TERRIFIC.
The Tri-Color Sashimi was also a
shocking amount of DELECTABLE
fish. 6 double-slices each of the 3
best fishes, according to the Amer-
ican palate -- Shake, Maguro (Aka-
mi) and Hamachi. WONDERFUL.
I was a little surprised when such a
large portion of OKAZU was not
accompanied by a portion of white
rice. Since there is no way to order
extra rice on the website, I assumed
it was included.
Little details cannot detract from
the OVERALL impression. Sayori
is a SUSHIYA FOR SUSHI FANS.
If you love sushi this is the best
place in the POST ROAD area.
A tiny bit more costly, but
WELL WORTH IT."
"Coconut shrimp roll had no coconut and the sauce with it was bland and mayonnaise but no coconut flavor
The description sounded great the roll was not
Misleading
Also the avocado wrap was brown which would reflect it was old
Would not order again
Disappointing"

"Whenever I'm missing Seoul, I order from here and I'm happy again. It's the only authentic Korean food place (not just BBQ) in miles. I love their yukgaejang and bimbimbap. Also, how many places serve samgyetang?
The spice level is American spicy, not Korean spicy, that's the only thing they adjust for the audience that I can tell. So, it's good news if you want to tryout the spicy food but don't want to burn your mouth off."
"The R. Bibimbap looks good on the menu, but what was received is a tub of lettuce (not standard for bibimap elsewhere) with a tiny dusting of ground meat on top. It also has a smattering of shredded carrots and raw bell pepper (also not commonly used in this dish).
The R9. Tonkatsu and bibimbap came with a half cup of rice. Not each, total. Half a cup of rice for a $50 dinner for two tells me all I need to know about this place.
DD has many great Korean options, this just isn't one of them."
