"The sandwich I got tasted good, don't get me wrong, but it was nowhere near as big as I was expecting for a sandwich called "The Monster". The price for a foot-long "Monster" (Sandwich only) through DoorDash was $12.49 before fees and tip. When it was all said and done I paid $18 for a Subway sandwich that was the same size and portion as any other foot-long sub on Subway's menu. If you are buying this sandwich because you think it's going to be this huge "Monster" of a sandwich, don't waste your time or money! I got a Fish Plate Lunch with some French Fries . And it was so much food I needed an hour or longer to eat. I was worried that catfish with rice could soak up some moisture, but the catfish wasn't soggy at all! In fact, the crispy (even crunchy) breading was better than any fried fish I've had lately. A (slightly) spicy, seasoned crispy outside that had a beautiful combination of flavors. Aaa. It was so good y'all. And the shrimp fried rice that came with it was a nice change of pace from typical fast food pairings (I still loved the in crinkle cut fries btw but never had rice with fish; really tasty).
This is an easy 5/5. The only thing that could have been better was the amount of tartar sauce. I only got 1 ramekin for 8 pieces of catfish. Ran out sooner than half way through meal. Tartar sauce isn't currently on the DD menu.
