"Even though it says Lemon Layer Cake, Hopkins has traditional style Birthday Cake (yellow cake with colorful white icing) by the slice too. So I pick a cake, like Lemon, that would be my second choice and then in the special instructions I write that I want birthday cake not lemon. I have ALWAYS ended up with the birthday cake. If you do this, just make sure you pick a cake that you would actually eat as your original order so if they are out of the birthday cake, then you will just end up with what you originally ordered. They have so many cake types, they just dont list all of them on the delivery apps. Double Chocolate is my mom's favorite but the Lemon and the Coconut is good too. Its nothing fancy but its awesome comfort food. The cakes are exactly like what you would get if you grabbed a Betty Crocker box of cake mix and made it yourself. "I got the avocado toast and the peanut butter protein bowl. They charge $12 for one slice of the toast, which is honestly criminal. Then the pb protein bowl came in a very thin plastic bowl that was so fragile. I went to pick it up on one side and the plastic cracked and the bowl went all over my rug!! I salvaged what I could from what didn’t get on the rug, but I couldn’t finish the bowl because the smoothie mix was so slimy. Like you lifted spoon and it behaved like those children’s slime toys all stringy and gloopy.
The only reason I’m not giving it a two or one star is because the pb protein bowl actually came in a large enough container that it felt worth the money, and the avocado toast was pretty good.
If the container hadn’t exploded on me, the smoothie bowl texture was less gross, and they gave two slices of toast for the $12 charge, then this could have easily been a 5 star meal. "
