"Pasta Bechamel was a HUGE portion for the price. Flavorful and creamy, was enough for lunch and dinner for me. The Umm Ali is a bread pudding with pistachios, raisins and quite a bit of spice. It's A LOT more milky/wet than Southern US bread pudding, but still good. Most certainly ordering from this place again."

I did not care for the Lamb Chops (Rice-Salad) because the meat smelled odd to me and had a strong flavor,but I'm no going to give that dish a thumbs down because it was my first time having lamb chops and it may just be the way that meat is. Generous with portions. The rice was very good. The Lemon Mint was too watered down - barely had flavor and was expensive."

"This is the real deal. This is kibbeh like my daddy used to make at home. .No other place in Houston does it like this. It's authentic. Brings back some happy childhood memories from long ago. The owners are so nice. They were out of the frozen half pan that I was trying to order, and they called me to tell me that they had 3 triangles left in the freezer, so we changed my order so I could get my Kibbeh! "LAVA PASTA does not come with shrimp like the description says, apparently since i received none... but the flavor of just the pasta is amazing, but very spicy, which i dont mind, but some may. the Greek Salad was put into the same bag as the pasta, so it was a bit wilted by the time it arrived. the dressing is basically just oil and vinegar and they added cilantro to the salad, which i thought was an odd choice, but it was ok. Pasta bread was good and very nice price. the Tiramisu Cake had berries and chocolate syrup which strays from tradition, but the cake itself was actually very very good. all in all, it was a quite delectable meal that i would order again, although i would add shrimp to the pasta next time."
