I also ordered the berrys and nut salad which I've yet to eat. As always the chocolate strawberry was delicious. "Already loved Mazatlan but usually always got the quesabirria platter, and now have never stopped ordering the deluxe burrito since the first day I tried it (three days ago. This is my third burrito and it hits every time. It doesn't taste the EXACT same every time but not in a way that inconsistency means a major lack of flavor, ingredients, or anything like that. Always good size that fills up the plate, always delicious stewed meat inside (I always get the Piccadillo), and the guac and verde served with it is the cherry on top. My plate is always licked clean and my tummy happy after ordering this. Only the third time did I find the sweet spot by ordering a plate of rice to go with.

I'm not a food snob, but I know good Italian food. The pasta was overcooked to the point of mush, and the sauce was bland across every dish we ordered. The one bright spot was the Caesar salad, which was ok.
For a $100+ order, I expected something at least somewhat on par with a chain like Olive Garden, and this didn’t come close.
In fairness, we only ordered a few of the pasta dishes, so I can’t speak to their steaks or other sides.
I sincerely hope improvement are made. I plan on trying it again next time I’m in town, and I’m hoping they prove this was just an off night."

If that's normal for the muffin then it needs to be in the description. Even without the coconut flavor, it is just not a good muffin.
