"As usual, the Single B&G + Bacon + MD Coffee is one of the best bargains in town. And this place opens earlier except any place but McDonald’s or Starbucks. So if you are an early riser and wake up craving biscuits and gravy, plus really good bacon and coffee, this is the place to go. Just make sure you choose the South Commercial location of Daynight Donuts, because the b&g at the other location, as I mentioned in a previous review, are not so good.

"Bolillos con Queso, Jalapeños & jamon Pastry is quickly becoming my favorite breakfast/brunch sandwich. It's a large (9" x 3") bolillo roll filled with ham, cream cheese and pickled jalapenos. The pickled jalapenos have less heat than the fresh kind; they just add a bit of zip. If you prefer no spice, they also sell ones with ham and cream cheese only.
FLAN GELATINA makes a nice dessert after spicy food. It has a slightly firmer texture than regular flan, but the same great caramel taste. Serving it in a plastic cup makes it less messy to eat.
DUNKIN DONUT COLD COFFEE comes in 3 flavors (regular, mocha and vanilla) and all 3 are delicious. Good sized (13.7 oz) serving. Not all bakeries serve beverages, so I appreciate being able to get my breakfast and coffee drink all in one place."

"Double biscuits and gravy, a 16 oz coffee and donut of your choice for under $14.00. One of the best prices I've seen for a biscuit and gravy breakfast on DoorDash. The portion size was generous, and both the biscuits and gravy tasted homemade. I chose the Boston Creme donut, which is my personal favorite.
If you prefer a different side than a donut, you can order the biscuits and gravy a la carte for $8.50. Add two slices of bacon for another $3.00. Coffee a la carte price is $3.25-$3.75, depending on size. Coffee was decent and they included half and half at no extra charge.
I will order this again the next time I'm craving biscuits and gravy. Not only is the price lower than many area restaurants, but they're open earlier in the morning (6:00 a.m.).

"I usually order the #3 combo (b&g, donut & coffee), but it didn't allow me to choose the Marionberry donut, so I went a la carte. Bagel with cream cheese, side of bacon, and donut with large coffee came out to less than the combo (with medium coffee) would have been.
Marion berry blackberry donut is my current favorite. Much more flavorful than a regular jelly donut. Everything bagel w/cream cheese was excellent too. Bacon could have been a little crispier, but it was still good. I appreciate the fact that they wrapped each item separately (another donut place just threw the bacon on top of the b&g, which is one of my pet peeves).
I still think they should allow a choice of any of their single donuts on the b&g combo, because you don't always want the same donut, but I was wrong about the price. It's $14.45 if you order the items a la carte (.70 more), not $16.00. My eyes must have been playing tricks on me."

"Trying this place for the first time. They had a "buy one, get one free" deal. The egg and cheese bagel was tasty and filling, but I wouldn't pay the regular price ($6.99) for it. $5.00 seems nearer the mark. I chose the sesame bagel, which can be hard to find at other coffee shops. Since it was a BOGO, and I live alone, I'm putting the second sandwich away in the freezer to reheat tomorrow.
As for the latte - again, good tasting, and I appreciate the fact that they don't have a surcharge for nondairy alternatives, but $5.99 is too much to pay for a short (12 oz) coffee drink.
I will give them points for packaging. Sandwiches were double-wrapped (waxed paper and tinfoil), and coffee was in a caddy with those little plastic dealybobbers to seal the lid, so both arrived hot and nothing got spilled.

The idea of building your own bagel sounds nice, but by charging separately for the bagel, spread, and various toppings, they jack the price up way above what a similar sandwich costs at other restaurants. As an experiment, I I tried making a basic egg, sausage and cheese bagel. The price came out to $11.00.
I could get an identical sandwich at Starbucks for $6.15, or at McDonalds for $5.45. There's no reason for these bagels to cost twice as much."

I used to love ordering a box of minibons or caramel pecan minibons from this store. It was a splurge, because Cinnabon is already an overpriced product, imo. But now they've slapped on an extra $5.00 service fee because of it's being 7 miles away.

"Bow Tie's food menu is simewhat limited, but they have a good selection of coffee drinks, and their prices for both are the lowest UI've seen on DoorDash for similar products.
Cheese Bagel was just $3.00, which I ordered with cream cheese at no extra charge. They only have two varieties, plain and cheese, which you can order heated or not, and with or without cream cheese. Compare Starbucks ($3.55 for the bagel alone, plus an an additional $2.00 for the cream cheese, or $5.55 total). Bow Tie Coffee's is just as good, although they do not have everything bagels.
Muffins are just $3.00, compared to the price of most similar muffins at other restaurants that are $4.00 or more. Quality is just as good. I had the poppyseed Muffin today, but I've had the blueberry before, and it was also excellent. They are supposed to offer a chocolate one as well, but it doesn't come up on the menu. Perhaps this is because the restaurant is new on DoorDash and they plan to add this item at a later date.
The Pistachio latte (starting at $6.00 for a 12 oz size) is a little on the sweet side, so if you prefer a less sweet drink, you can order a regular latte, Americano or house coffee instead. There are a number of flavored syrups you can add to the regular coffees for an additional 50 cents.
All in all, I would say this restaurant is on a par, quality-wise, with much higher priced coffee houses I've tried. I would probably order breakfast from it every day if it expanded its food menu a little.

The Stumptown Cold Brew was tasty, and just enough of a caffeine buzz I needed, but $7.00 and change is an awful lot to spend for an 11 oz serving. I could have gotten a 16 or 20 oz latte from a good coffeeshop for that price.
I've noticed that both restaurants and grocery stores tend to jack up the price on vegan products. The grocery store price for this item, though about 20% lower, was still too high, imo. I think if I want cold brew in the future, I'll just buy the concentrate (or diy my own) and add my own water or milk."

1/2 beet chevre salad was a little disappointing. I expected there to be more beets. Instead, it was a bed of arugula with some crumbled chèvre and chopped (canned) beets tossed on top. And a pretty dinky portion, even for a half serving."
