"Kelowna has a new best burger restaurant and its, The Landing.
The DV The Go To Burger is a real char-grilled burger with real meat in it and it actually tastes like a burger should. After the first bite, I inhaled it and I was gone in a few minutes.
The fries were excellent with no skin, really crispy, not drenched in salt and, I think covered with a light batter before frying which added to the crunchy feel.
I rated the pickup as 2 stars, because the order was not noticed on their ordering system until I arrived to fetch it despite having paid for it and adding a tip. They were understaffed, one waitress on duty so I understand the problem, except why payment was taken when the order wasn't processed.
In the end, both the DV The Landing Crispy Chicken Sandwich and my burger were worth it. Did I forget to say there were two chicken breasts in the chicken sandwich?"
""The Go To" AAA Beef Burger had been warmed up in a microwave before being wrapped in the container. The bun was soggy the lettuce was brown. I had to scrape the sauce and lettuce off of the bun and the layer of soggy gross and still couldn't get rid of the horrid taste from the relish sauce. No option when ordering to remove or replace items such as relish sauce and pickles. Could not sub in Onions Rings instead of fries, had to add it as a full order and then only came with half a dozen rings for $6.50 was a huge disappointment. The pile of fries with the burger was double the serving of the Onions Rings. The fries were great. The onion rings tasted great but way too small for the price. The burger I ended up throwing out it was horrible. Nothing looked anything like the pictures. "
