"I tried the Chicken or Pork Adobo and paid $18 for what ended up being about six pieces of pork with a small side of rice. The portion felt a bit underwhelming for the price, especially with how small the rice serving was.
As for the pork itself, it wasn’t as tender as I expected from adobo—it was a bit tough and didn’t really have that melt-in-your-mouth texture you usually want. I ended up adding some of my own shrimp egg foo young gravy to it, and that honestly made a big difference in the flavor.
Overall, this dish didn’t quite hit for me, and I wouldn’t order the pork adobo again. That said, I’m still open to trying something else on the menu and giving them another shot to redeem themselves."

"the sesame chicken was okay. it's a hole in the wall version of an Americanized Chinese dish, so you can't really expect that much from it. but it was basically over sweet with no noticeable sesame flavor. the pepper steak was bland, the steak was mushy and had no texture, and had very little meat. that doesn't generally bother me, but considering what they were charging for the dish I really expected more. the fried rice was absolutely horrible. it was exactly that. rice that had been fried. if You're expecting egg, vegetables, seasoning of any sort, forget about it. you don't get that. it's just a vaguely Brown pile of mushy rice with nothing much to recommend it. the best part of the meal, quite frankly was the egg rolls, which were nicely crispy and had a good filling. but they were extremely greasy.

My favorites were the Tofu Khua Khao (vegan fried rice) and the Mango Salad. The former was very classic and satisfying, and the latter was very fresh with lots of bright and Very well-balanced flavors. The Crab Cake tasted great, but was much smaller than expected; the only item I had with a less than impressive portion size. The Mieng Kana Tofu tasted great, though did fell apart a bit during packing or delivery. The Lemongrass Fizz is a bit less "fizzy" than the name may imply, that said it tastes fantastic. It also works perfectly as a pallet cleanser, especially with spice; so if you are someone who struggles a bit with spice this would be a great companion to the spicier dishes. I also ordered the Chocolate Mousse Cake, haven't tried it yet but it was packaged well to hold form during travel, and it looks incredible.
Sauces were all in separate containers rather than mixed in, so everything arrived the right consistency, and tasted amazing. In my experience, the Portion sizes are decently large compared to most DC restaurants; an entree + appetizer would serve as a solid 2 meals.
First time ordering from here and very happy with the choice. Will definitely be ordering from here again!"
