"We got this place for breakfast today and was a bit nervous about the quality based on previous reviews, however, we actually really liked it! the Chicken Fajita Quesadilla was cooked well and the salsa was mild in heat and had a great taste. The chips are comparable to qdoba chips! the Steak Fajita Quesadillas was also good, I really liked the flavor of th steak, there steak could have been cut into strips, but thats a personal preference, there was a good amount of onion and peppers on each Quesadilla. We also got the Papa's Loaded Tots. Tater tots dont typically travel well but the southwest sauce was a good addition, I didnt eat a ton of them because I crushed the Quesadilla.

"I ordered the chicken teriyaki with white rice. It is tasty. There is a nice balance between the sauce, rice, vegetables, and chicken. There is a good ratio of sauce, so I don't think it is necessary to ask for extra on side. The chicken is all bite size and free of any weirdness (thank you for that). I was full about 1/4-1/2 way through, and intend on giving the rest to my boyfriend. It comes with two packets of soy sauce, napkins, and a plastic fork! I would definitely order again, it hit the spot."

"I ordered the Mongolian Beef and got two egg rolls as an appetizer. The beef was a little spicy and slightly sweet. There was also a separately packaged order of white rice. The rice was nothing special but it went well with the beef. I would say, though, you get about twice as much beef as you need. You might want to get an extra order of rice and feed two people with it. The egg rolls were really good. I highly recommend them as a side."

"Crab Rangoon(4) was delivered hot, and still crisp, as were the Spring Roll(2). Crunchy edges and tender filling. Each came with a 2oz cup of sauce, which was more than enough for the portions. Both sushi rolls were fresh and cold. Philadelphia Roll was a great value for the price, pieces were large, and balanced. The Godzilla Roll was well put together, the perfect amount of heat, and a very generous amount of sauce with it as well. I will definitely order again! All packaging ensures the hot items are hot, and the sushi containers are tall enough not to squish the larger rolls, and have enough space to protect from any hot items also in your order."

"Sashimi Deluxe. Tasted like previously frozen, now defrosted, sushi-grade fish. I didn't like the taste or consistency. The salmon and tuna tasted almost exactly the same. Salmon in general has a distinct taste and it didn't truly taste of salmon. The size of the sashimi is ok, not tiny. I visit Japan twice a year, so I've eaten quality sushi. I'm no master of sushi, but this meal compared, are not the same quality.
The salmon teriyaki was black-pepper grilled salmon, stacked on top of the veggie side, which was a soupy stir fry. Very ordinary. The rice was not Japonica, but jasmine. Salmon portion was alot, 6 pieces with the extra meat upcharge. The flavor, and fish quality for both was not enjoyable. I ate a few bites of each and threw it out.
I wanted quality food. If you want forgettable fish quality lacking flavor in a not-Japanese-owned sushi resto, this is your place. 🤷🏼♂️ .
I will not return to Sushi Lover.

"My daughter and I order from here often, and we almost always get the Taro Milk Tea with brown sugar tapioca and the Strawberry Milk Tea with strawberry popping boba. Nearly every time, the drinks are fantastic, flavorful, well-made, and consistently enjoyable. The only issue we’ve ever had was once when the brown sugar tapioca was slightly undercooked and a bit firm in the center.
My daughter also loves trying the food, especially the crab rangoons and takoyaki. The portions have always been generous, and everything we’ve received has tasted fresh and well-prepared.
