"Was so excited to try this place but would not order again. Portion size was bigger than expected and food was fresh, however, the taste was overall disappointing. The Tigawok Pork Bun tasted more like a wonton filling and greasy on bottom. Them Wagyu Mapo Tofu had a good tingly spicy taste but lacked complexity and flavor outside that. The Chilled Garlic Broccoli was very sweet tasting but I couldn't taste garlic or sesame and couldn't stomach the sweetness after two bites. The Orange Peel Chicken was great at first bite but had a strange after taste and is going unfinished. The Pepper Kurobuta Pork only tasted like spice/pepper without any other flavoring, but it did have a nice cook to it and the peppers had char. The Chow Mein had no flavor, the Steamed Rice had good texture and wasn't overcooked or cold.
Overall, none of the food met our expectations and was barely touched after a few bites. Food was also greasier than desired. We won't be back and will instead turn to any of the other Asian restaurants in the area. Super disappointed as they were offering a lot of our favs, the price point was good and the serving size surprised us. Their little to go containers were reliable and leak free."

"Glad to see this popular brand from China open in Los Angeles. Upon unboxing, the packaging alone already gives a strong impression of sincerity and care. Though the flavor and number of dishes in the menu is discounted compared to the ones in mainland China, some simple improvements can be made. Firstly, it would be better if more braising sauce is given to the beef rice bowl, considering the generous amount of rice provided. The rice quality is mediocre, therefore I would recommend replacing it with jasmine rice from either Thailand or Northeast China (where the best are grown and not very expensive in fact) which is more aromatic and flavorful, while being a more traditional choice for this dish. Lastly, the woodear mushroom is too sweat to me and I feel like it would be better if made into a savory course instead, highlighting the refreshing flavor of woodear mushrooms. What I particularly enjoy about is the flavorful Lamb Shaomai (which pairs excellent with chili oil of Lee Kum Kee) and the tender beef stew, plus the edamame which enhances both the flavor and texture of the dish. By the way, the amount of vegetable in the combo is low so I look forward to choices such as adding cooked green vegetables that are chopped into small dice or brunoise to the dish. Mastering these elements is the key to creating Chinese cuisine that is genuinely flavorful, nutritious, healthy, and authentic. Keep it up!"
