"You know how Chinese takeouts are a dime a dozen in the city? Well this one trumps them all with the quality of food theyre serving. The S 6. Walnuts Shrimp is creamy and well seasoned. It's delicious served with rice. The only complaint with that dish is the number of shrimp in the dish, don't be cheap about it please. The 38. Singapore Chow Mei Fun is fried right with good flavor and not soupy. When there is too much liquid on the bottom of your container, it's not done right. There is a little spiciness mixed with your curry mei fun noodles and it tastes delicious. I would get the Singapore mei fun again"

"I appreciate the quality of their food and packaging for takeout and they don't skimp on portions. Hard to come by a restaurant that can do all three. The 12. Dumpling are full and dense. The 15. Shumai Steamed are also hefty and are not tiny like what you get at the frozen section in the store. It looks and tastes like these are made in house. the S16. My favorite meal here is the Ma Po Tofu. One time I ordered it and the owner happened to deliver it. He said that they make it the way it is made at home and if you find it made another way, especially with added ingredients (like peas, carrots, etc...), that is not the real way. As a BYOB we have shared a Saki with the owner who is always ready to make the visit special. I cannot recommend Bamboo enough!"

A few favorites I keep coming back to: the Veg Grilled Cheese Panini, Dal Makhani, and Hakka Noodles. And honestly, what really sets this location apart are their “Norristown Special” dishes. They don’t feel like random menu add-ons. They taste like true chef specials. I’ve been trying my way through them and I’m genuinely impressed. Every time I think I’ve found my favorite, the next one surprises me.
What makes Indian Hut stand out even more is how they treat customers. Things don’t have to be perfect every single time, but when something is off, they handle it the right way.
