"Once again an absolutely amazing meal from La Fornaretta! This time I had to order for delivery as I just had surgery and couldn't get up and around for 6 weeks. I ordered the Handmade Tortelli Pesto, the Insalata Papale and for lunch the next day the Insalata Caprese. Here is where the Customer Service went above and beyond. I saw that they had a special of the Burratta Caprese. So I called in and asked if I could change the Insalata Caprese to the buratta caprese and was willing to pay any additional cost. The young gal checked and came back on the phone and said no additional charge and switched it out for me. Now that is really above and beyond. My food was delivered hot and delicious and the salads were so fresh and yummy. This is why I keep going back! Delicious food and top notch quality and service. Thank you La Fornaretta for another meal that you hit out of the park!"
"This restaurant is my happy place! I have been going there for over 11 years and it is consistent and amazing! The chef, the staff and the owners are kind and caring people. Chef Marcellino makes divine reduction sauces, as well as traditional Sicilian dishes that are off the charts. Delicious!  The ambience is cozy and inviting. But when I can't go there, I DoorDash it. "I got the lamb hotpot with add-on of lotus, medium spice. Extremely underwhelming. No spice whatsoever (the spice scale only goes from medium to very spicy so I was cautious), almost no vermicelli, very few mushrooms, and little to no flavor. The lotus, additionally, came on the side so it did not cook in the soup at all and therefore wasn't worth paying for.
Only good things about it was that lamb was plentiful and the pork blood sausage thing tasted good. The store was cool in that I did not know how to do the add-on and they fixed it in-store instead of omitting it entirely. "
