"Perfect comfort food for sick days. The portions are always generous and it always comes out piping hot. I always get the pho ga and have never been able to finish it in one sitting! The broth is a great balance of sweet, tangy, and salty.
The only downside is the chicken; it itself doesn't seem to have any flavor, so it's more of a filler than anything else. It's also pretty dry and chewy for my tastes.
It's a bit pricey for me to buy too often, but I always come back to it when I'm under the weather. Will probably be ordering again come wintertime!"

"Excllent! I haven't had Thai food this tasty in a long time. The Panang Curry ws out of this world. We got it with chicken and white rice. Make sure you order extra rice when ordering their curries because the rice they include is only enough for one person. The curry however is generously portioned and enough to feed 5 people! What I liked best about the curry is how rich and thick it was. So many Thai restaurants in the area water down their curries, this curry was not watered down at all. So hearty and so filling. For rice lovers you will want to order an extra rice since it only comes with a tiny box of rice, about one third the size of a typical serving. The coconut shrimp however is awful. The breading on the outside is too thick and it tastes nothing like coconut, the shrimp inside is mushy. The sauce that comes with it is not a spicy mayo, it's honey mustard sauce which is a strange combination. It appeared to have been either reheated or became soggy due to the packaging. I wouldn't expect that low level of quality from the same chef that prepared the curry, probably best to review that. The coffee was delicious although since it's in a smaller cup it would be nice to have have an option to order a larger size. "

"With a place named Breaking Batter, you would expect their cake batter to be a real stand out. Unfortunately, that isn't the case here. The cake was exceptionally dry. Now, I'd be willing to assume that this was a one-time overcooked issue for all 4 of the items we ordered, but even if that is the case, the cake flavors are absolutely nothing to write home about. They taste and look like someone made some cheap boxed cake mix. The strawberry cake is bright pink, but the flavor doesn't match the vibrancy. The favor is very artificial. The same is true of the vanilla cake. Given the cake is at the bottom under everything else, it means your final impression of the dessert is ruined by the carelessly made cake.
Not everything is bad, though. The toppings we tried were all really good and not very sweet. We didn't have any of the cereal toppings. The strawberry syrup was probably the stand out topping. It tastes like real strawberries and isn't cloyingly sweet. The jars are real glass, so you can cut off the plastic Breaking Batter label and reuse them. I'm happy they didn't use plastic jar bodies.
Overall, for the cost, this isn't worth your time. I sincerely wish I could say otherwise."
