Basically made the food 50% more expensive since all the pieces were smaller. I was so happy with them, but now I'm worried about consistency. Egg roll was pretty greasy, and the chicken teriyaki was dried out and difficult to chew, plus...only 2 sticks for $8 is a bit steep...it's not beef! Never had fried rice with carrots in it either, but was still decent. Pepper Steak and Lo Mein were good, fried dumplings a bit spongy after making the trip in a plastic container, but tasted good. Most of the food was at least fresh, more than I can say for other places in the area."

I recently had the pleasure of ordering from Far East, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. I want to especially highlight the Crab Meat Cheese Wonton (12), which instantly brought me back to my childhood. I hadn’t seen these in years, and they were always one of my favorite appetizers. When I noticed Far East offered them, I was thrilled — and let me say, they did not disappoint!
These are, without a doubt, the best cream cheese wontons I have ever had. They are much larger than others I’ve tried in the past and fried to perfection — wonderfully crispy and crunchy on the outside while creamy inside. I personally love dipping them in sweet and sour sauce, and Far East makes a truly delicious version. They are generous, too — each order comes with 12 big wontons, which is almost unheard of at this price point. Other places usually give you 7 or 8 for the same price, and they’re often much smaller.
I usually order a couple of portions and make them my meal because I enjoy them so much. Plus, Far East is kind enough to include sweet and sour sauce with the order, which makes the whole experience even better. The combination is perfect, and I can honestly say I’ve never enjoyed wontons this much.
Beyond the wontons, I’ve tried several other dishes and they have all been excellent. The C17. Sesame Chicken and Pork Lo Mein combo was fantastic — the chicken was tender, the sauce was delicious, and the portions were huge. The pork lo mein was cooked just right, and I even added some sweet and sour sauce to it (which I now love to put on almost everything). I also tried the vegetable spring roll, which was crispy and tasty, and of course, great with the sweet and sour sauce as well. I also ordered Fried or Steamed Dumplings (6) (Fried) dumplim and they were just as amazing
Overall, the food here is amazing and the portions are very generous. The combo meals come with so much food that I was able to enjoy leftovers for both lunch and dinner the next day.
As someone who is fairly new to the area and hesitant to try new Chinese restaurants (after years of sticking with the same one back home), I can confidently say I made the right choice picking Far East. The food is reminiscent of the Chinese dishes I used to love, and I’m excited to try even more from their menu. I’m so grateful to have found a local spot I truly enjoy.

"We always come back to this place for chinese. So glad we tried it during a special! My boyfriend goes there atleast once a week (usually twice and whenever it rains), he loves the 11. Fried Chicken Wings (6) 鸡翅膀 (he gets them chopped and they never mind doing that, always crispy fresh and delicious) always and 35. Roast Pork Fried Rice 叉烧饭 (honestly a favorite in our house) we usually get 63. Broccoli w. Garlic Sauce 鱼香芥兰 as well (so much flavor!)
Something as basic as wonton Soup 23. Wonton Soup 云吞汤 you wouldnt think would vary so much but from here it's truly delicious.
The people who run this place are so nice, they always recognize us, even on the phone. They work very hard and pour their heart and love into what they do.
