"This is the best poke bowl I have ever had in my life. I ordered the Create Your Own Bowl with spicy salmon + sushi rice. First bite: literally said, "wow!" out loud to myself. Second bite: "I have to write a review." At first glance, the Regular size portion seemed quite small, but I am stuffed after finishing the bowl. I will likely size up next time just to have leftovers, though. The sushi rice was fresh and actually added flavor rather than just carby sauce absorption. The cucumber, avocado, and green onions were also fresh and well-portioned. I was glad to see that adding edamame didn't result in filling half the bowl with beans like most other poke places seem to do. Even the ponzu had vibrant and nuanced flavor as if it had been made in-house. Lastly, Oh. This. Salmon: can fish be called succulent? The Tropical Slush is #1 in my heart forever. And I always order one of their green teas to have for lunch the following day and they are always so kind to hold the ice for me.
