"The rating on this restaurant is deceiving. Second time ordering from Tacoyote. Both experiences have exceeded expectations based off of DD ratings. They have become our favorite Mexican spot in two orders. Chipotle Chicken Enchiladas were absolutely the best Enchiladas... cook, sauce, flavor. Followed up with the Poblano Enchiladas which were phenomenal and this is coming from a "meat only" preference for entrees. The Barracho Shrimp Tacos were also fantastic. They package everything very well for travel and exceed typical Door Dash expectations. A current 4.3* rating is ridiculous because this is by far one of the best Mexican takeout places in the area on DD. I've had many more dishes than referenced but they have all been terrific. Highly recommend and encourage you to disregard the 4.3 and expect a 4.9."

Beef Birria Burrito- dipping sauce was absolutely disgusting. water with a few things floating in it. the Beef Birria Burrito was missing the seasoning and peppers. Cheese Dip was half the size of the last time I ordered. Grilled Steak Taco was literally steak in a shell, my bad should have read the description but like come on... for $25 I expect some effort. highly disappointed as I had a complete different experience the first 2 orders."

"The Queso was very tasty. the burrito was pretty good but: all of the guac was in the back end of the burrito and there could have been way more veggies. I got a fajita and guac burrito. It seemed like it was mostly rice. better proportions of rice, beans, veggies, guac and cheese would have made this an instant classic for our home.
also, whoever packaged the burrito had the wrapper inside out so the foil was inside touching the burrito and the paper side out.
the Burrito Combo was a good price for the food you get. hopefully they adjust the proportions!
I haven't had the Lemon Chess Pie by Four & Twenty Blackbirds yet but it looks pretty good.

"Wow. I usually don't write reviews but this one is well deserved. I'm a very harsh critic when it comes to Mexican cuisine and find most places to be highly overrated but not in this case! Good salsa is a must for me and they definitely check that box. The shrimp and chicken soups are packed with flavor, so delicious. Love that the empanadas have a corn option, tastes way better than flour. I'm a sucker for anything habanero, so I was over the moon to see this as a sauce option on the stuffed peppers. Highly recommend!"

I also ordered a side of Guacamole which was filled to the top and an extra side of Avocado which was extremely fresh and bright green, i couldnt help but to dig in before i got the photo.
