"we ordered the whole baked Pollo Horneado Entero /Whole Baked Chicken and Arroz con Gandules/Spanish Rice and it was delicious! the food arrived quickly and it was still warm. It was seasoned very well and tasted very authentic, which is so hard to find these days. We will definitely be ordering from here again!"
"my Pernil/Roast Pork( Lunch,Dinner) was disgusting. I used to love the food from here Now it's not worth it. The last 2x I have ordered from there the rice is just full of grease and the pork is either old or there is barely any in it. Prices go up and quality goes down smh."

"We have ordered from here several times and everything we've tried has been delicious. When ordering the Tacos Gringos - the "Crispy" tacos, we always ask for the fillings to be sent separately. They always accommodate and then we can crisp up the shells, and it's never soggy. I particularly like the Chancho Burrito, the meat is very flavorful. "
"Super disappointed. I ordered a burrito, a side of rice and beans, and an elote. The burrito is huge and will definitely carry me through a second and probably even third meal, and the elote was at least buttery, soft, and comforting. Unfortunately, that’s where the excitement ended.
The rice was cooked well, but the only thing giving “authentic Latin yellow rice” was the color. No seasoning, no depth, no warmth. Just bland. The beans tasted like they were poured straight from a can with little done to elevate them. And the burrito? More of the same flavorless rice and beans wrapped around a dry, underseasoned chicken breast and rolled into a flour tortilla the size of my forearm.
At this point, I almost want to open the whole thing up and doctor it myself with salt, pepper, pico de gallo, lime, maybe even some hot sauce just to make it enjoyable. I’m honestly shocked there wasn’t even salsa or sour cream included, because it desperately needs something to bring moisture and flavor to the dish.
For the price, I genuinely feel like I could have made something far more flavorful at home for a third of the cost. If you’re looking for bold, authentic Latin flavors, this probably is not the spot. Keep looking."

"I loved the roast pork meal(pernil) this is my second time ordering it. I'm from Charleston South Carolina gonna be here till next month. I'm planning on taking back two of large pork meal, pernil back to South Carolina, but the beef empanada was pathetic. It had very little beef very bad. Wood-n-Tap

"This is my Hickory Burger from the Wood-n-Tap restaurant, which I ordered at the peak dinner hour of exactly 6:22. I ordered my burger exactly as it is on the menu at the cook temperature of Medium Rare. I do like my burger to be quite pink so I ALWAYS order delivered red meat more rare than I would in a restaurant as the meat will keep cooking in the box & bag on the way to my house-just a tip for food ordering newbies and this goes double for steak orders.
I received my order earlier than expected by about 10 minutes about 37 minutes total time from order to delivery...and it was ABOVE AND BEYOND AMAZING. Considering the 20something degree temperature outside and a 15-20 mile trip from restaurant to my home everything arrived incredibly well.
I ordered 2 of these burgers, 1 for myself and one for my hubby. The frizzled onions were still awesomely crispy, i almostwish I added extra even though im stuffed to capacity cuz they were so awesome. Frizzled onions are something that I find even when I order and eat inside a restaurant can often be a very hard item to nail and they NAILED IT- these were fantastic. The bacon was still crisp, the fries were warm and clearly not fresh from the fryer because they'd obviously been delivered, but they definitely still had a crispness to them. As you can see in the photos (and if you've ever ordered high end takeout or just brought home leftovers before) you probably know that condensation can sometimes be an issue in travel- its the tax you pay to not have to leave your home for incredibly amazing food.
I took a few photos, this way you can see what a delivery of this burger's doneness at medium rare in delivery at my time, temperature and distance looks like, as well as the burger's size which was bigger than my entire hand- I will say my hand is a woman's hand and I wouldn't say I have a large hand at all, but I'd say the burger was pretty darn large. I apologize for having taken my photo of the entire box of food with a bite taken from it, it just smelled and looked so amazingly delicious and I was so hungry that I just had to take a giant bite.
This was my very first time ever ordering from Wood-n-Tap, but I can assure you it will not be my last. This burger was juicy, lean, seasoned amazingly and beefy- exactly what I was craving- a REAL BURGER. This is not some puny paper thin fast food mystery meat grease bomb. If thats what you're craving you know where to go to get it. But with prices these days, with a total plus tip not much more than one of those neon sign fast food joints... I'll take Wood-n-Tap over that other trash ANYDAY! If I could give 20 stars I would!"
"The Dirty Chicken Wrap was so good. I loved the tangy sauce. The portion was big and all the ingredients tasted fresh! I loved that the avocado was actually RIPE! That was the best part. I'm usually iffy about dishes with avocado but this one did not disappoint! I'm glad I ordered it! The Steak Taco was my favorite. The Shrimp Taco was good too but I preferred the savory steak. I am so full from those three things that I'll have to eat my Caesar Salad Caesar Salad Large and Spinach Artichoke Flatbread later tonight. I am hopeful they will be just as good. First time ordering so I got a few things to try and I will definitely be ordering again!"

"So delicious! We love the vegan Bean Burrito that even includes Sweet Plantains within it. Also, the arepas are fantastic. Have reordered multiple times. "
"They were great but food quality, has diminished. Pork is dry, less flavorful, and not chopped as fine. Rice was hard.
I included a pic of the chicken dish I also ordered t show the huge gash of missing rice. "

"I order breakfast at the restaurant and sometimes through DoorDash. The food is always great. They coo it to my liking I always ask for my home fries well done basically burned and they are always perfect along with the eggs sausage and toast. The banana crème pie is delicious. Very friendly staff and great diner food."
"Great for gf vegan and other dietary restrictions! Menu is massive, soooo many options! Staff is attentive to dietary needs and great at communicating. Online ordering doesn't allow you to customize but staff is attentive to notes in text box so that you can leave a note about omitting any items. The prices are high but the portions are giant! I ate half my meal for lunch and the rest for dinner! I would definitely recommend coming here!"

"The Chorizo Casero con Arepa / Homemade Chorizo with Arepa turned out to be very good. Turns out the mild-tasting arepa is a great vehicle for juicy, flavorsome slices of chorizo! "Definitely a cut above other competitors. Fresh ingredients, well-textured, and thoughtfully prepared. Portions were abundant. The flavor profile of the String Bean Garlic Soy was exquisite. The Pad See Ew was awash with mixed produce and crispy tofu, not mostly noodles and cheap vegetables like you come to expect from lower-priced restaurants. The Moo Tod could have been a little softer, but the marinade it was soaked in made up for it. Prepared quickly and packaged very professionally. Will definitely order again."
"The Thai Hot Wings And string Bean Garlic Soy were top tier, especially the Thai Hot Wings. The wings were flavorful, big portioned, and delicious. I thought it might be too spicy but they're just right. Pad See-Ew Noodle was nice too but I wasn't given the wide noodles, so sad. Would order again!"

"Weve been customers since Sitar opened .
They continue to please. Per our request they made our two dishes low sodium, plus they added peas to Rogan Josh and paneer and extra fresh ginger to Aloo Gobi. Always accommodating, always fresh, rarely average tasting."
"I probably order from Sitar once every 2 weeks or so. I have deviated before when they are closed and I'm always disappointed with the other choices. Sitar's food is excellent! They always get it prepared quickly and they also provide more food (rice, etc.) than any other place - enough that we have leftovers! They package it neatly too (the little things). I will aways be a fan. Best Indian food in New Haven!"
