"The last 2 times I have ordered from here, the large Large Gyudon Beef bowl has been well under weight, and having minimal amounts of beef, as opposed to when I have gone there myself in the past. The issue is specifically because of the cook who works there in the evenings. No other Yoshinoya does this. Also last night it was exceptionally greasy, and it was made from the fat, which is really gross, especially when they're supposed to boil it away into the broth; I cook gyudon myself sometimes, so I know that they're supposed to cook the shaved beef in the water and soy sauce with yellow onions and mirin until the fat is completely rendered by the process, but this was full of nasty chunks and ribbons of fat. This is what remains at the end of the day when they're done shaving the beef, and it's not supposed to be served; so this either indicates inventory mismanagement, or laziness, but neither one is acceptable. The udon noodles were good, as was the Teriyaki Grilled chicken bowl."

"Food was alright. Dumplings lacked taste. I've had better dumplings... Portions were sub par and it was easy to tell much thought went into the design of the plastic plates that contained the food. The triangular shaped compartments that separated the food enabled a limited portion size. I've been to similar places that had plates without any dividers, in turn giving a greater portion size. Smaller portions are acceptable as long as the price matches the portion. Given sub par food, I would rather buy a little caesars pizza for $7 and have left offers than buy Waba Grill. The miso soup lacked life. I could've thrown some spices in some chicken broth and made something better. I don't even cook. I might as well have drank tea, because all it did was warm me up. In fact, all waba grill did for me was fill my stomach up with boring food. It was not memorable. Either get your name up or get your brain up, but I guarantee waba grill will not make a name for itself with such incompetence. Waba grill would not give a single piece of fecal matter about it because "profits over people". I hope God strikes down waba grill and the people making its decisions. The world is better without you. You're nothing without your consumers. "
