The Roasted Asparagus was delightfully tender with a majority of the woody stalks either cooked out or removed, and the sauce is delicate enough to let the vegetable sing.
All said, unless you're stuck for the night I'd suggest going to a quality chophouse like The Drover where you get what you ordered."

Food was average at best, one of three main dishes was freshly made and hot, the others seemed like they had been sitting around on buffet table all day. "China Taste is my "go to" Chinese restaurant. As a matter of fact, it's my "go to" restaurant, period.
The food is fabulous, and even the regular portions are large.
Most of the entrees have two different sizes so you can order up if you're feeding a family and the price difference is only a few bucks.
I usually order Walnut Shrimp OR a Chicken entree with an order of Sauteed Broccoli and that one order last me two days, so it's economical too.
I've had their General Tso's Chicken, Curried Shrimp and Onions, Kung Pao Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Curried Chicken and Onions and their Walnut Chicken (at different times, of course). All of their dishes are awesome!
Their General Tso's Chicken (a favorite of mine) beats all the other Chinese restaurants I've been to and I'm from San Francisco, so that says a lot (fun fact - SF has a lot of Chinese restaurants).
Summary: China Taste has amazingly good food, large portions and great prices.

"Ever since Beijing Gate closed, we haven't found a Chinese restaurant we really liked until today- after a number of recommendations, we gave it a shot and were pleasantly surprised. A good crunch on the Sesame Chicken and the Orange Chicken (Hot), quantity was good for the cost and Crab Rangoon (4 Pcs)was tasty. If I was forced to say anything I'd change, I'd make the Orange Chicken (Hot) a little spicier (I have a higher spice tolerance) but was still happy with the taste.

"First, you truely are missing out of some of the best thai soups available, the togo portions are perfect with the solids and broths in different containers so the veg is crisp and the noodles still have great chew. I would heavily recommend the beef noodle soup due to 12 boil all the good nutrients and collagen (great for skin) is extracted from the bones. If looking for something lighter the seafood soup is a great balance of spice and lemon grass with all the seafood variety.
You can't go wrong with the noodle dishes. I love both the pad sew ew and the pad thai. The pad see ew is sweet with a small kick at the 2 spice level and 3 and 4 are great for when you want a good sweat, get it with a side of noodles or rice and it'll easily make two meals by using the extra starch to temper if bad with heat (glass noodles are my favorite) , or order with tofu and extra egg or 2 for more protein."
"Always, ALWAYS phenomenal. Rice Noodle has the best Pad Thai in Omaha, as far as I'm concerned. My family also loves the Minced Pork Basil and the Yellow Curry-- and we always get a double order of those tender, crispy chicken wings! Everything is fresh, flavorful, and generous in portion. So long as Rice Noodle keeps making such delicious, high-quality food, we'll keep ordering!"
