"This must have been an off day, the only thing tasty were beans & salsa. Chicken Wings:The skin, instead of the expected crisp snap, yielded to a soft, almost rubbery texture, a disappointment compared to the savory promise of a perfectly cooked wing plus the hot sauce had a sour flavor that made me question if the chicken was spoiled. Birria Tacos: My birria taco experience was unfortunately disappointing. The consommé, which should be the flavorful heart of the dish, was surprisingly bland with very little depth. The beef, instead of being tender and succulent, was tough and chewy. To make matters worse, the tortillas were flimsy & fell apart, making it very difficult to enjoy the tacos as they were intended. The paper holding the tacos stuck to the cheese on the beans, I was unable to scrape it off because the paper was so thin it just ripped off with the cheese, however the beans were flavorful on their own. the rice had a lovely color & texture but had no flavor. I'll try again."

"the food was delicious and hot. My husband said the pot roast in the Hashbrown Casserole Shepherd's Pie was so tender and delicious. The Maple Bacon Grilled Chicken was tender and juicy and delicious.
My only criticism is that there is always something missing from my order. This time I ordered a baked sweet potato but only wanted the brown sugar cinnamon butter. I got the sweet potato and butter, but no brown sugar or cinnamon. So, not a big deal, because I have that stuff here at home."
"Country Vegetable Plate tasty crispy fried okra, pintos a little salty, no seasoning on the green beans, biscuits had a bit of a raw flour taste, coleslaw was delicious. Classics Sampler' meatloaf was more filler than meat and veggies but it was a huge portion, VERY disappointed in the chicken and dumplings-there was no chicken, the sauce was bland and tasted like canned cream of chicken soup, the dumplings were good,the mashed potatoes were cold and didn't have the white gravy I ordered, the greens were more meat than greens, the cornbread was soft and fluffy. I wish they had vinegar packets for the greens. I regret not ordering from a local diner. the meals cost over $30 before tip."
