"The Auntie Anne's Footlong Pretzels are great, and reasonably priced IMO. But the All-American Club? Wow, I just paid 16 bucks + tax + DoorDash fees for a bunch of bread, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Where's the MEAT? When I opened up the sandwich to add some mustard (which wasn't an option), I didn't even see the meat, I had to practically pull the whole sandwich apart before I noticed a very thin layer of ham and turkey. And the advertised "crisp bacon" with the photo of generous slices of bacon was a joke. I found one soggy slice of bacon on the sandwich. Then when I ate the damn sandwich, I didn't really taste the meat either, I just got a mouthful of soggy bread with lettuce and too much mayo.
I don't blame the delivery person at all, not her fault. I don't even know if it was the sandwich preparer's fault (or maybe it was). Perhaps the food service employees are instructed to go skimpy, I don't know. I just know paying that much for a bunch of bread and lettuce isn't satisfactory. I know food prices are high, but at these prices, at least make the damn sandwiches the way they appear in your ads and menus."

The fries were disgusting.
They were cold, limp, undercooked or overcooked depending on the fry, and had that nasty texture fries that have sat around for days and then been poorly reheated tend to get. There was no way these had been made fresh more recently than the weekend (it's Wednesday). And there is no way Black Bear would have served these in-restraunt.
Absolutely NOT worth the $7.09 price for a side of fries. Probably 98% of the batch went into the trash, and we still ate too many.
We won't be ordering delivery from Black Bear again."

"These were my first items & experience with Cali Rays. I had the Garlic Pesto Turkey*. The only thing I added that wasn't standard was mayo. I didn't want to get crazy with add ones before trying the baseline. It was absolutely delicious! There's sourdough bread & then there's Sourdough Bread! definitely the second one. I also had the calm New England Clam Chowder* . it was good as well & there was no grit in it that you find in some chowders. I was reluctant but decided to try their Chocolate Chunk Cookie* . some places it's a high price for a small cookie. this one wasn't that. it's a good sized cookie. I got the 4" extra sourdough 4" Extra Bread* . just FYI it came unsliced, which is a great option & I can see wanting to get some unsliced but next I'll be seeing if I can add special instructions for it to be sliced. I had to tear it which made it squished. Still good though for soup dipping."

It was fresh and hot, but the portions were noticeably smaller, the beef in the Mongolian beef was of a muddy consistency (not the thin seared consistency as previous versions), the tempura vegetables were of an inconsistent size, the egg rolls were completely soggy and our delivery bag was saturated with leaked sauce. Not sure what happened this time. Maybe they had a new cook this evening? We still like them and will continue to go there, but the difference in quality over a couple weeks was drastic and prevalent."
