Splitting the cheese garlic bread in addition to the pasta, and maybe a side salad, makes for a perfect meal, which is what my Mom and I did tonight. I decided to build my own sandwich and ordered a roast beef and turkey sandwich on Dutch crunch with everything. Picked it up to a friendly greeting and smiles from all of the staff. Took it home to eat and wow this was a huge sandwich and full of ingredients. Unfortunately I noticed quickly it was all turkey and no roast beef. They forgot my meat. I sure hope they get it right next time. I should say that even without my roast beef this was an incredible tasty sandwich. Every bite got better and better. I honestly can say I haven’t had a deli sandwich as good as this in a very long time. Probably the best Dutch crunch roll ever and so soft with the perfect amount of crunch and sweetness on top. This sandwich was pure heaven and so big but I was hungry and wanted to go right back for another.
Still one of the best sandwiches in the Bay Area and I’m so glad there finally in my hometown of Pleasanton. I’ll be back soon and very often I guarantee! It’s a must try if you’re in the area or even if it’s a bit of a drive. Tell em Scotty sent you."

"Everything was okay. The Red & Gold Beets were delicious, but the bogo just meant that they took a normal order and put into two boxes because there wasn't much in either. The Rigatoni Bolognese needed more meat sauce and also Parmesan (did not send any cheese with the meal). The Penne a la Vodka also needed cheese, and the chicken was kind of bland. It didn't taste like a pasta that was finished in the gravy. The house made Foccaccia was also delicious, but again, not much, only 4 slices of bread, and the dipping sauce needed more vinegar.
Overall not bad, but much better value for the money at other nearby Italian restaurants (e.g., Primavera, Frankie's)"

"I’ll be honest — I’m usually not the biggest fan of the pizzas at California Pizza Kitchen 🍕😅 BUT… their pasta dishes completely surprised me.
One night while staying at a nearby hotel, I was seriously craving Chicken Piccata, and this place absolutely delivered. I ordered it with the pappardelle noodles and WOW. The noodles were wide, thick, fresh, and cooked perfectly. The chicken itself was tender and cooked beautifully, and the piccata sauce was honestly one of the tastiest I’ve had in a long time. Super flavorful, comforting, and exactly what I was hoping for.
If you are craving Chicken Piccata, this dish really hits the spot 🍋🍝
My only complaint from one past order was that I added a side of mac & cheese and somehow only received a container of macaroni with cheese sauce instead of the full dish I paid for. I honestly forgot to complain about it at the time, and mistakes happen, so I’m not holding it against them long term.
Overall though, definitely do NOT skip the pasta dishes here. They are made very well and were honestly much better than I expected. I’ll absolutely order the Chicken Piccata again."

The Lobster Ravioli was a Valentine's Special that they ended up adding to their regular menu - and I'm so glad they did. The flavors are well-balanced making it the perfect Spring dish.
