"Despite being cold (Doordash delivery, not restaurant's fault), the bagel sandwich was so good! The bagel was pumpernickel and I can't say enough about it. I've found my new place for bagels!
I would not, however, recommend the chai tea. It was so extremely sweet I couldn't drink it. Chai is not supposed to be super sweet, but even if it was this was just way too much.

"I went hwre again last week and I forgot there was a bagel spot I kept passing by every time. One of my other gourmet spots in Galloway was closed early so I decided find a last minute spot and went to Poppys Bagels. The 2 gentleman that cashiered were very nice and helpful.
My first item ordered was the Avacado Hash and I replaced the regular egg with egg whites so it pretty nice and customizable. That tastedddd ammaazinnngg oh my lordddd.
When I asked if the hash browns are deep fried !!they don't deep fry the hash browns either!! so that won me with that this place and their accommodations.
This is my favorite breakfast spot and their bagels are nice and large too. I love the Avacado Hash, that's my go-to with a whole wheat everything bagel/ whole wheat. It tasted real hit and fresh and it was a lot to eat so that was great for my stomach!

"We had takeout from Patronis and it was probably the best food we had while in OCNJ. It's a lovely resort town but the food is meh... then Patronis arrived. Admittedly, the pork sandwich wasn't our favorite, kind dry. Everything else was delicious! The marinara was fantastic (another Italian deli nearby had a VERY sweet "gravy" which I found inedible). "PROS: The bread was delicious, fresh n fluffy. My husband liked his chicken Parmigiana as the breast was tender n juicy but he hated the spaghetti. The soups were great yay. The Mozzarella Sticks were great. The Arancini (5) very nice too. Steak Stromboli was nice, big n tasty.
CONS: Unfortunately my chicken Marsala was not good at all flat n flavorless. Used to be great. Not sure if this the original owners or a new one but it's completely different from the OG Little Italy. Not enough sauce or Marsala flavor, chicken was dry. Bummer. Meatballs (2) were not good. The Eggplant Rollatini tasted thick, heavy n too cheesy sadly. The gravy was good tho.
I must point out that we feel a bit bait n switched because the restaurant we thought we were ordering from was Giovanni's Best of Italy NOT Little Italy (what we received). We get lured in because we wouldn't have gotten Little Italy since being sold as the quality has dramatically changed. Strange experience so yeah. Better luck next time."

I ordered the Whiting Fish Platter, and the flavor was good. The fish was seasoned ok and cooked nicely. My only real concern was the portion size. For the price, I was a little surprised to receive only two pieces of whiting. I honestly expected a bit more, especially considering the cost.
The food itself was ok, but I’m on the fence about whether I’d order again because of the portion sizes compared to the prices. If the portions were a little larger, I’d have no problem ordering again.
