The chicken came with a spicy sauce that was an absolute explosion of flavor, the kind that lingers in the best way. "If you eat with your eyes and not your mouth, then this is the place for you. The DoorDash pictures are not an indication of what you will receive, but what you wish you had received. The "side" of hummus was laughable and the size of a thimble, so it was overpriced for the product amount, and the quality of the hummus (which was bland, slightly grainy, and didn't taste fresh). As for the wrap, it was fine, but also fairly bland, which is saying something considering I got it hot. The wrap pictures are also misleading because it looks like they come with fries, but they do not. Although the wrap description didn't mention fries, it wasn't implicitly clear that fries were not included, based on the picture being part of the advertisement of the meal. However, many people have given this place good reviews, so I'm HOPING that maybe it was just an off-day and if I ever order from there again, I'll know to stay away from the "sides" :-D"

"The food was very good, especially the Lahori chickpeas and onion naan. I used to visit the now-closed Bismillah in San Pablo and read that this was the same group. It’s not exactly the same, though I preferred the naan and chickpeas here.
The lamb chops were overcooked and missing their rice. The Chicken Tikka Masala sauce was excellent. The medium spice needed more heat. but not enough to warrant ordering spicy. The San Pablo Bismallah doesn't give a choice but it was always perfect for my taste. if I go in and order that may be something I can work out. not their fault. My biggest issue was the yogurt-like coating on the meat, which changed the texture and reduced the tandoori char. I preferred the chicken at the old Bismillah.
The shop is great, with a fresh meat counter, good products, and lovely staff. I’d return, but may order different meat dishes."
