My family quickly learned that what people referred to as "good"/"authentic" Mexican food in the Roanoke area often was not up to our standards and always left us feeling disappointed. We found Tacos Coronado on our own when they opened after a years of living/searching in the area and tried their Carne Asada Tacos and felt like we were FINALLY getting a taste of home. We have tried many things on their menu since then, and all of them have been wonderful. The food tastes fresh, portion sizes are good, and the flavor is delicious.
