"Summary: tastes great but packaging leaves a lot to be desired, steam built up in boxes. Opened immediately upon delivery, but already soggy.
The Fried Pickles were quite tasty but the batter suffered a lot in transit. The entire appetizer was 4 quarter spears (aka 1 pickle), so it simply wasn't worth the price. The red pepper aioli that came with the pickles was awesome and ended up going well with the other menu items.
The Fish & Chips included two nice pieces of haddock, wonderfully-seasoned, albeit sadly more of a baked fish texture by the time it arrived. All but 1 of the fries that came with the haddock were flabby/squishy, but again, great flavor, so you didn't really mind that they had the texture of baked potatoes?

"I have always loved Don's lunch. when I ordered them a few months ago it brought me back to when I was 15 and first tried one I was so impressed that they had it packaged in some kind of tin foil wrapper and even though I am 12 or 13 minutes away it was nice and hot. the sandwiches have the sandwiches have not been been consistent the last two times I've ordered from them they just came in a regular takeout container and we're cold. "I'm not even going to lie. This was very good. I expected low quality based on my experiences with certain other Chinese takeout places in the area. What I recieved was genuinely satisfying, robust, delicious Americanized Chinese food. The wonton soup was particularly excellent -- tasty and fresh, with large, moist, well wrapped wontons and a simple but effective broth. The beef teriyaki was tender and sweet. The orange chicken was decently spicy and definitely oversauced with a sort of sickly sweet flavor, but what else would you expect from orange chicken? The meat was white and the coating crispy. I wasn't a fan of the fried rice, but I'm spoiled. Overall a really positive experience, and better than similarly priced Chinese places in Portland."
