The chicken 65 I ordered spicy and I could see the red pepper flakes on it. The karahi was good - also ordered spicy, not a huge amount of meat on the bones but certainly better than some other restaurants I've ordered from. The butter chicken was good but not spicy like I ordered, maybe it's just not the kind of dish that is meant to be spicy. No rice came with any of the dishes - just a heads up. It came in a big container with 8 small scattered pieces of meat- looked a bit sad. We had eaten at Alborz in probably 2013 and enjoyed it, not so much now. We are fans of Persian food. "Mersin Chicken Tantuni with Yogurt Sauce - 4 stars; This seems to be a wrapped chicken Donner, sliced, and topped with a yogurt sauce & spices. It's good, I would have requested no tomatoes if I had known they were included. Eat with utensils of some sort (chopsticks, fork, spoon) as it's slightly messy to eat with hands. Portion size is good and can be shared easily.
Stuffed Grape Leaves (Sarma)(5 pcs) - 3 stars; These are thinner than I'm used to but still good. They go well with the Turkish Sausage & Eggs and are only filled with spiced rice.
Turkish Sausage & Eggs 4 stars; The description and picture said sunny side up eggs but it was actually a sausage omelet instead. I got it with mozzarella and ate with the Sarma to balance out the flavor.
Pistachio Roll ( 1 pcs) - 4 stars; I prefer this to baklava as I find that too sweet. This was not too sweet, slightly dry, and very pistachio forward.
