"The food was great and the portions were large. The rice was perfectly cooked, all the vegetables were fresh, and the meat was well seasoned. It was kind of expensive for two meals and a few sides but I would get it again."
"Good taste, but my only complaint is the portion size is smaller than I thought. And please double check the sauces didn't spill. Freshness in terms of its options, good though... Uncertain, I will order again."

"Good size Kid's Combo, dasher asked to substitute a soup because it was no longer available but the replacement was delicious! Good sized grilled cheese as well and you can add protein to it as well. Didn't get the chocolate chip cookie as that was substituted as well but the brownie was also good. Overall will be ordering in the future!"
"I've never had any complaints from this spot and I order frequently. However, today the soups were not filled- there was a lot of room left. The Wisconsin cauliflower soup was about 3/4 filled and flavorless- only tasted the heavy cream and the chicken noodle soup didn't have ONE piece of chicken."

"What an exceptional value for the price! There was an abundance of moist, tender chicken and the veggies were cooked perfectly!"
"The food overall was amazing. I loved the sauce, a nice spicy kick with a bit of sweet, and the miso soup was so soothing and flavorful. The avocado was also fresh, like there was no brown on it at all fresh.
However, the soup had spilled in the bag due to it being placed on its side, and I received 4 out of the 5 dumplings, which aren't a big issues for me but still.
Besides EXTREMELY minor things I will definitely be a returning customer and will 100% be recommending this place to anyone visiting the area.

"This location is the most inconsistent one of all. :( the cookies are either perfect & gooey, or overly cooked and burnt.
The rice is so beyond bland here & the portion is 8/10 times going to be filled halfway.

"Kahu is the GOAT!!! I love their food and their portions are generous for the price!!! I got it twice in a row and I'm thinking about getting it again, I tried the mix barbecue that comes with short ribs the first time and I tried the mix barbecue with Chicken Katsu BBQ & Katsu Mix the 2nd time plus I always get a side of Macaro Saladni cuz it's sooooo yummy!! I definitely recommend. I forgot to post the 1st review but I decided to include both plates I got!"
"Let me start by saying, this is not my first time eating here but, it has been over a year. I used to get huge portions of food. Although the food arrived quite expeditiously from the time I placed my order, it wasn't as warm as I was expecting. The one rib I got was cold and the beef was room temperature. Also, the beef was a combo of chopped and small quarters, which I wasn't expecting. I was hoping for full bite-sized pieces. My chicken was tender but semi-dry in some pieces. I'm not certain of I ordered on a bad day but, my food has always been piping hot when I got it home (I live minutes from the restaraunt). I was also disappointed in the portions. In the past, I had enough food for two servings. However, not today. Seems like everywhere else; prices go up and portions go down. My scoops of rice and macaroni were so small, I couldn't believe my eyes. I may try again but it will be a moment due to my disappointment."

"Absolutely amazing every time! This is the only (New) Halloumi Pita you can find in the phoenix area. It's delicious!!"
"After several years of patronage and over 50+ total orders, I'm officially done with this place. The chicken is always char grilled well, but the portion sizes remain wildly inconsistent. Today, I ordered the chicken shawarma requesting no lettuce and no tomatoes. This is what I received - a soggy pita with TWO pieces of chicken. TWO. Beyond egregious, bordering on offensive. I've ordered this menu item 34 times because I crave it. But only about 50% of the time were the portions reasonable. The managers need to implement better quality control measures. Joke's on me for giving so much benefit of doubt.
But save yourself the time and trouble and just go elsewhere. I recommend Mika's Greek on Thomas or Nino's Greek on 16th St -- both are consistently leaps and bounds better in quality and quantity for the price than Nick's. "

"The picture says it all! The brisket is tender and cooked to perfection. And I can't say enough about the potato salad; it is delicious. I order at least once a month. It's that good! Oh, I almost forgot....the proportions are substantial!"
"Holyyyyy cow!!! This was absolutely delicious. I'll start with the protein; I ordered the sliced brisket and the pulled pork. There was two big slices of amazingly tender brisket that just melts in your mouth. A great sized portion of pulled pork that I put on the Brioche Bun to make great sandwich that was paired really well with the spicy bbq sauce. For sides I got cornbread and beans. The corn bread came as four good size pieces of corn bread that had a nice cheese crust on top and a hint of jalapeño throughout. and good side of beans."
