They were apparently out of the skirt steak so instead they sent a stunningly generous amount of lobster, 3 juicy shelled crab claws and corn on the cob to make up for it. The lobster and crab were perfectly cooked, the drawn butter had an amazing but not overpowering heat, the corn was buttered, seasoned and delicious and I completely forgot the skirt steak was even supposed to be there. "I used to order several times a week, and loved this place. It was one of the very few places that are open late around me. But there's way too many issues now. They forget my horchata, very often. Last time I ordered, my rice and beans was missing, and my horchata was missing. Plus, the container of guacamole I paid extra for was only half filled and browning. The cheese on the taquitos is just thrown on every single time, and doesn't even melt on the taquitos evenly whatsoever. It's actually comical sometimes how messily it's thrown together. Also, even when they remember to include my rice and beans, it's thrown on top of everything, super messy. Just like the cheese. And all the missing items. The attention to detail is just not there. I used to be a fan but I probably will not be ordering here again. And the taquitos are the only affordable item on the menu. The rest is horribly overpriced. A side of plain tortilla chips is $5? It's an "expensive" plate yet the least quality of food products and overall bland. Also, not allowing to modify a dish that is modifiable in the restaurant sucks! I'm a veggie person, but I do not love onions. In fact, I despise them. Most of the plate is onions. I added pre and post onion removal photos to show just how much.
