Aside from that, the Loaded Beef Nachos also good. I added lettuce to mine so I am pretty sure it would not come with it and does cost a few cents extra which is kind of a downer in my opinion, at least given that it is lettuce and not extra meat. "Best taco salad I've had in a very long time. It was really delicious. The ground meat seasoning was perfect all the other components the guacamole sour cream although you know, tomatoes, and lettuce and cheese, I'll balance really nicely and even the shell was really good which I ate the whole thing the quesadilla was OK. It was a little dry wasn't cheese really wasn't melt melted in it and for the price I don't think I would order it again but the taco salad for sure. I would order it every time I have the opportunity because it is really good."

"Fronteras is one of the best Mexican food spots in Palatine. The owner runs a clean shop with fresh ingredients and fire grilled meats for every order. I would compare Fronteras to a fresher, more authentic version of Chipotle. When you order in the store, you choose your ingredients and protein before they turn around and grill the meat fresh on the spot, most of the time I've been there anyway.
We moved to Palatine in April 2025 and have been happily returning here at least on a monthly basis. I prefer the arrachera burrito with habanero salsa and red salsa. Each burrito is large and the quesadillas also are very filling. The bowls at Fronteras are comparable to the size you get at Chipotle."
