" We got the large jerk chicken bowl and the jerk chicken poutine. Both were super yummy, and both bowls were filled up. Good value for the price and the amount of food you're getting. The only thing they could improve on is the quantity of toppings; there wasn't very much of the selected toppings in each bowl. Otherwise really good!"
"The BOGO was a steal. Gave me the opportunity to try this restaurant and surpassed expectations. Great flavours and spices. BBQ and Jerk chicken done perfectly. The veggies and coleslaw make this meal complete. The creamy sauce was just right. 10/10."

"The pickup was ready on time and the food was delicious. The gravy on the rice was yummy and the jerk chicken was juicy and spiced well. I only knocked it down by 1 star as it's a little outside of my price range. I guess you pay the usual Liberty Village surcharge haha. If it were about 30% cheaper, I'd put this place in my regular rotation."

"I ordered a buy one get one deal . I got one Combo Roti or rice, Doubles, & Pop and the same but with curry goat and rice . They definitely did not add enough meat for the price . In total I got 3 pieces in my meal which is ridiculous . I got more rice than anything . On top of that was this supposed to be a salad cause what is 2 pieces of cucumber and 1 tomato going to do. "The food was flavourful. But... not nearly enough food for the amount it costs. The container was what usually considered a medium. For $27 it should have been large or at least put more food in the container. The plantain was soggy, smashed together and in pieces.

"I started to nyam off my plate and said "Let me catch one quick picture for a review."
I was starting to lose faith in the taste quality in ordering island food. Carib Dish changed my mind and became a favourite for myself and my teens. Oooo-weeee! My Curry Goat Roti was delish. Nice flavour to enjoy. Tasted great and close enough to my mama's. I also added my favourite dish growing up, Saltfish with Vegetables Meal and I was not disappointed. The portions are perfect sizes and it tasted fresh. Made with love for sure. My teens enjoyed this because they were silent. lol Not one peep. Thank you Carib Dish, you will see me order again."
"Really disappointed with this order. The Mac and cheese is bland and unseasoned, tastes like they just put Velveeta on some macaroni noodles. The plantain was very bare and thin slices. The 2 FOR 1 Small Jerk Chicken Meals was decent but VERY small. Even though it was 2 for 1, it felt overpriced. Would not order again."

"I'm a big pasta fan, and the pasta tasted like it was one of those microwaved pastas from the grocery store. Wings are pretty small, but they have good flavors. I ordered corn bread, but they gave me garlic bread. I used to come here a lot back in the day, but the quality fell off. price has always been very expensive but it's not worth the price. "Roywoods always has the freshest, tastiest food. The Jerk Chicken Plate is heavenly and a really good portion for the price. The Plantain and Festival are fried fresh to order in their own oil and are perfect. This food really feels like a vacaton to Jamaica especially with the crispy TWO JAMAICAN BEEF PATTIES + DRINK (a ting of course)! It's amazing to get high quality food like this and value for your money. Roywoods has never disappointed me"
"Good flavour and packaged nicely - portion a little small for a "large", but flavour was good. Arrived fresh and hot even in frigid winter. Would probably order again during BOGO to offsite small large portions"

"They did the exact spice tolerant that I love they gave me a lot of food. It's packed with flavor. It's fresh and I will be making this my number one spot to order from. Thank you, and please do not stop your business for whatever reason we will help and support to keep you in business because you make the best food and on top of you brought some old-school flavors, every reminded me of my childhood when I used to go to nice restaurants you don't get food like this anymore and you guys are one of a kind thank you so much!"
"I was supposed to get 2 wonton soup (2for 1 special) but I only got one at regular price even though I called and the lady said I would get the 2for1 special as advertised and DoorDash could not help, that's why I called the restaurant directly. I called again after delivery, no answer, left a message but no reply as yet. The 2 for 1 wings, fries combo deal was great."

"the nicest people and the best jerk chicken. their patties are absolutely out of this world 5/5"
"Good prices, but I ordered a meal kit and there was no coleslaw. To be honest, I eat a lot of Jamaican food and it was not as tasty as I'm used to, the gravy could be thicker and not so watery. Also ordered the bananas and it was hard. Needed more cooking time. I wouldn't suggest the cook to try and improve those items and I'm sure they can do it. The chicken was well cooked and soft. Thank you. "

"The food was actually really good! The chicken was cooked well...tender and moist and the bbq sauce had a sweet savory flavor. The draw back is the meal selections included vegetables but none were provided with either of the meals."

"I had the "Jerk pork" and I fid like it... I LOVED IT! It was a a perfect portion of peas & rice with coleslaw. The price was on point for the meal provided. I'll definitely order again. I had a great meal, and ill be coming back for more."
"Portions are laughable considering this is not a free or low cost meal - it's priced at a premium. 80% ground provisions and 20% Ackee & Saltfish. 70% rice and 30% Callaloo. There was not enough Callaloo or Ackee & Saltfish to feed a single, human adult to meet your intake needs for one meal - the Ackee is so nominal, it can't possible amount to more than 3 grams of protein. Abysmal."

"Red Pea Soup with Oxtail was very flavorful. The only thing I'dcomplain about is the lack of meat inside. The portion size is perfect for 10 dollars, I would order again,it is a fresh tasting soup. The festival is always on point.but the soup is also hit and miss at times."

"great price, great portion, and delicious Chili Chicken Dry or Gravy with side white rice dry! the side chili/vinegar is just perfect! definitely order again."
"The Pakoras themselves weren't bad, though we were disappointed they didn't come with any sort of sauce or chutney to dip them in, as we're used to receiving when ordering pakoras. Very dry to eat. The Chicken Pakoras were especially harder and drier than the others (I ordered veggie and fish pakoras as well).
The Jerk Chicken (Boneless) was a big disappointment. The container was packed with a huge portion of rice, with very little chicken or slaw. The slaw felt like only a garnish. The chicken was just a few thin pieces atop the pile of rice below it. And even worse than being small, the meat was very dry, even dark meat. Hard to eat without a lot of extra sauce. Very disappointed, but at least I have enough rice to last me a week.
The best word to describe the entire meal- DRY."
