Not only did I need to layer each piece of zucchini between layers of paper towels to drain the grease off of it, but the zucchini is sliced so thin that you can barely SEE it or TASTE it. For $10 I need more than a whisper of zucchini flavor. Also way overdone - crunchy, not crispy.
They didn't have the Chocolate Chunk Cookies , so I substituted a slice of banana cream pie and it was really good, so that helped.
Overall, not up to EnP's usual high standards.
It won't stop me from trying again, of course, but I was really craving the fish and zucchini, so it wasn't a happy Wednesday."

"Very disappointing. Very chintzy on ingredients. The Chicken Classic CYO Salad tasted good, but wow, there weren't very many "toppings" in the salad that you pay for each & every item. Tasted mostly lettuce only. The red onions, feta, eggs, beets and croutons and even the chicken were very hard to find or taste. The bowl wasn't even filled like I've had before. The Strawberry Salmon Salad had very little pieces of salmon and strawberries, although my husband said it tasted good. Really enjoyed the Raspberry dressing. However, when seriously spending $50 on two Salads only, this was a BIG ripoff. Very disappointing. More than likely won't order delivery from here again. For this price, we could have had two full course meals from a reputable restaurant."

"Rene's is a well known, long time establishment which is why I'm sad that I have to write this review. The 6" Hot sausage sandwich was not that great. It actually tasted like Kielbasa with a lot of garlic. It didn't have that fennel taste normally associated with hot sausage. I actually tossed the other half because I wasn't happy with the taste. Not to mention (look at the pic) the sandwich was more bun than anything. The Fried cheese was ok but didn't look anything like the menu pics(which looked fire!!) Tasted good but pretty average. Again, sad that I had to make this unsavory review but I expected more from such a well known staple. Sorry Rene's...you missed the mark on this one."
