"I like the orange chicken here but it's very sweet without any tart or spice. So if you are looking for something that tastes like Panda Express or Trader Joe's, this isn't it. It does have a sweet and subtle orange flavor that I enjoy.
The curries are always good here. They are always careful to deliver the spice level ordered.
Portion sizes are good. They provide more than you should eat in one sitting but not quite enough for two full meals unless you supplement with a starter or a small soup or salad. If you are feeding bottomless eaters, you may need to order slightly more.

The green papaya salad was fresh, crisp, and flavorful. The tomatoes as well as the peanuts were still crunchy. (A good indication that it wasn't pre-made and left sitting in the refrigerator.) Probably the best green Papaya Salad (Som Tum) that I've had in recent months. The limes brightened the flavor and the heat level was just right. Wish that the Krapow Moo Grob (Crispy house-cured pork belly) and the White rice Or Brown rice was up to the same standards."

"i grew up going to this place as a kid, it's my favorite. i know theres a lot of other vietnamese restaurants that are also really good, but maybe its because i grew up eating here that it makes the flavor more nostalgic.
the spring rolls here are SO GOOD. their peanut sauce is so chef kiss. i order it every single time i go here. a lot of other places make their peanut sauce really thick and creamy(which is also good), but the peanut sauce here is quite different in a way that makes it so good. i also love getting the pho special, the soup is so comforting.

"I recently read a great review for KT Shan so thought I'd try. The Shan Mee Shay noodles were incredibly spicy but no where on the menu does it indicate chili or pepper or spice. Couldn't eat more than a few bites. The Tea Leaf Salad was mediocre at best - I'd give it a 2 compared to the same salad at The Green Elephant which is a 10+. I really wanted to love the food as it's so close to us, but I'll make the drive to Loomis next time. Maybe it would be better when dining in."

"Best sushi restaurant ever. Their rolls are huge!! They're hand rolls? Also huge!!! Packaged beautifully. I am obsessed with their California (HR) literally never had a hand roll so big and filled. Their California rolls are so good too and everything just tastes sooo fresh. I add fresh salmon and lemon on top to make a "49er" version sushi roll since I'm from the Bay Area and those are my favorite and ugh it's so delicious. I love ordering from here. I've had their Cali Fry Roll as well and it was actually my first time trying it and goodness! They again, the rolls are so big that it's worth the price, and it tasted like heaven! Their Miso Soup is excellent. What I like about this place is you can remove sauces, add things to the roll as you wish which is super rare to find a place that accommodates! My parents have loved their Jalapeño Bombs. They highly recommend them. They never skimp out, for example I've gotten their Chicken Teriyaki Bowl with just rice before and holy cow I was able to have some for lunch AND dinner and it still was super fresh! Their Sake Don is incredible again this place gives so much and doesn't skimp out, which I LOVE!!! Mine came cold but tbh idc it was still soft and good. as for the Egg, Bacon & Cheese sandwich I got it on a sourdough roll and it came super warm and cheesy & super loaded with everything inside.
