"I ordered the grand red velvet cake for my mother's birthday. Apparently they were out of that cake, but they chose not to tell me. The employees left the store and I got out to tell them that my order was wrong, they told me they ran out of the cake I ordered. So instead of canceling my order or telling me at the counter, they chose to not say anything and let me waste $50 on a cake I didn't even order. They told me I could call tomorrow and get a refund, I just contacted DD support to get one. The whole exchange was incredibly underhanded and disrespectful, I will never be ordering from this store again."

This is what I've been looking for in a soul food restaurant. The food was delivered hot, fresh, SEASONED, and a decent amount.
Got a bit of a few things for us to try. For those who eat pork, the chops is a must have as well as the chicken. Spaghetti, yes. Green beans, yes. Mac and cheese, yes!
This is a place that when you have company from out of town you can take them too. Not many places I consider for that here.

The peach cobbler is straight soup with no masking of the "can taste" of the peaches. The portion sizes were great, I just wish I enjoyed my meal. The quality and attention to detail was lacking and I would not order again."

"I was really disappointed with my lunch order from Jamaica Mi Irie. I paid over $75 for 2 large oxtail plates, and unfortunately the food didn't meet expectations. The portions included a large amount of rice and beans, but there was very little oxtail meat. What meat was included was tough, overcooked, dry and inedible. On a positive note, the cabbage had great flavor, but there was very little of it as well. For the price, I expected much better quality, better portions, and properly cooked oxtails. I wanted to enjoy the food as this was my first experience with them. However, it turned into a frustrating one. I hope they take my feedback seriously and improve the quality of the meat and portion sizes for future customers."
