"Most appetizers aren't worth the value. Order the Botana Grande and you'll quickly discover that. The nachos and quesadilla were soggy and the cheese re-congealed. So, in the future, skip those. Both the taquitos (chicken and beef) were good. The filling was generous. But, the star of the Botana Grande was the wings. Fried to perfection, retained the flavor of chicken and not the oil it was fried in. Super plus. I also have had the bean dip and queso dips. These and the chips used as a delivery device were well seasoned. Now, the show stopper and perhaps hidden gem - the tamales! Again, generous fillings, creamy, firm masa, rich sauce. Spiced just right with a warming heat and you won't even notice that you're nose might start to drip a little toward the end of the second one. Solution, only eat one. Oh, who am I kidding? "Overall the food was not bad, there were a few areas needing improvement, First, The Pizzas were not cut well, and we had to tear the slices apart. Because of this, the cheese and toppings slid off the crust. Overall, the pizza sauce lacked flavor, and the crust was rather chewy like it had been reheated in a microwave. We've ordered from here many times, and it hasn't been that way for previous orders so it was a bit confusing. The Caprese had more tomatoes than slices of mozzarella, and did not come with the olive oil we had received previously. The Bavarian Pretzel was good, but the Garlic Flatbread was pretty bland, had no garlic flavor, and no dipping sauce. In terms of the desserts the Cookie Dough Mashup Cake had something in it that tasted sour, its not described on the menu so I don't know what it was. The sour taste was distracting to the overall flavor of the cake, which was otherwise okay. The Blueberry Cobbler Cream Cake was ok, not spectacular but not bad. Overall, it was very average, nothing spectacular, and a little on the pricy side for the quality we recieved. We have ordered from this restaurant multiple times in the past and those experiences were significantly better. I don't think this place is bad generally, and I wouldn't write off coming here based on this one experience, I would still generally recommend it to people, but I think they could use better quality control and consistency."

"I am a person that loves soup, so I figured I'd try out the soupery. I will say, the Chicken, Veggie, & Rice was very flavorful and one of the best "chicken noodle" type soups I've had. I must admit, I was a little let down by the Cajun Sweet Potato & Chicken - not bad, but I didn't think enough of the seasonings came through, a little overpowered by the sweet potato of it all. "I ordered this as a pickup, and when I got home, my jaw dropped because the burrito was about as big and thick as my upper arm. Then I unwrapped it. and instead of a nicely made burrito, the thing was literally packed so full, like obnoxiously full, that it wasn't even closed. there was guacamole and French fries and bits of steak just smeared around one side of the tortilla. How the hell am I supposed to eat an exploded-and-fully-wet-in-and-out, instead-of contained-and-dry-on-the-outside burrito? there was no way to fix it, so I emptied it into a bowl, and realized that now I have to eat a bunch of french fries with a fork. F that! whoever wrapped my burrito should be ashamed of themselves. but they need to go to Chipotle school of burritos and learn some stuff before they are ever allowed to wrap a burrito again. on a more positive note, the steak and everything else with a fork was delicious. fantastic carne asada, like some of the best I've ever had in this area."

"Chicken & Waffles is a 3/5 for me. Not a huge fan of their chicken fingers only because the batter tastes over cooked but I LOVE their waffles. They're definitely called international house of pancakes for a reason. Didn't get the hot chocolate i ordered (I would just avoid getting a drink bc they never seem to remember mine regardless of my order). The Crispy Potato Pancakes are a personal favorite definitely an honest 4/5, mostly because they remind me of when I'd make latkes with my Grammy as a kid. They're definitely best when hot! "I'm not sure if this was a one-off incident or if this experience is a consistent one - as I've only ordered The Friendly Toast via DoorDash this one time - but everything about it was fantastic. The details all the way down to the packaging were thoughtful. The mint leaf on top of the Acai Parfait tasted so good with the dish, it was such a great touch that I really enjoyed. They make the corned beef hash so nicely here too. The Tiny French Toast was great as well!! I'm so appreciative of the care that went into this meal because I had a lovely, fresh breakfast. It was as if angels descended from the heavens and gently kissed my meal before I ate it and then returned to the magnificent splendor from which they came.
