"I tried the Vegan Lemon Coco-Chunk for the first time, I'm not vegan but I LOVE Chunk-Fetti so thought I'd give the other coconut-inclusive cookie a go. Because I'm not vegan, or gf, dairy free or any of the other dietary requirements I'm not generally keen on the different tastes and textures those restrictions often result in, especially when it comes to baking. The Vegan Lemon Coco-Chunk is moist and gooey like the non-vegan Get Chunky cookies. There is a small amount of chalky texture after you have been chewing it for a while but way less than your average baked vegan treats, they have obviously worked really hard to minimise that. For my taste there could be more shredded coconut and I did think replacing some of the flour/base with fresh ground almond meal might just take this cookie to 5*. If it wasn't vegan I'd probably give the Vegan Lemon Coco-Chunk a 3-3.5* but it's a genuinely great effort at a dietary-inclusive offering. If the GC team need any taste testers for my almond meal suggestion I am at their disposal!"

"I love this place. The Margherita pizza is really fresh with the most perfect, velvety tomato base I've had outside of Brooklyn, and luscious cheese. I recommend adding the buffala - if you're having pizza for dinner you may as well double down on the delicious. A lot of similar places around Perth look good but tend towards overcooking the pizzas so you end up with the wrong texture and unable to taste anything other than charcoal. The only negative with Il Locale is the type of pies they make don't travel that well. They get cold fast and with cooling comes that weird reversal when the dough becomes increasingly soggy and the cheese increasingly firm. I'm only 6 minutes from the restaurant and it's still a thing. I should get off my butt and go sit in the restaurant (totally offers good vibes) but when I just *can't* I am still delighted with my pizza even if the 'middle pizza zone' ingredients have all traded consistencies. The only reason I gave the Piggy a thumbs down is my partner said he didn't like the meat or soggy middle. To which I say he should have ordered a Margherita and appreciated that he doesn't have to get off the couch. You can't please everyone. But I'm delighted he's being precious - more leftovers for me. Hooray! Thank you Il Locale for a tasty pizza pie I very much enjoyed on my sofa in my moment of need!"

"The salted pretzels were okay but were cold, a bit overcooked and short on the buttery glaze. As a result they weren't as soft and chewy as they are meant to be and most of the salt had fallen off. In my experience Pretzel often overcooks them this way which is a shame. Someone needs to visit Auntie Anne's in the USA to find out their secret to their soft, doughy perfect pretzels!"
