The Bangkok Street Noodles were delicious with genuine crispy tofu (unlike other restaurants that serve congealed whale snot in place of "crispy" tofu. The Kung pao shrimp were cooked well but were not spicy at all, the fried shrimp were not great, those tasted a lil too fishy so we didn't finish them. "The Butter Chicken was a huge let down. This is one of my favorite Indian dishes and this one was not at all what I am used to. An oily dark brownish-orange, this sauce is neither creamy nor buttery and the chicken chunks were dry and flavorless. The spicing in the sauce was good with just enough heat to know it’s there.
The rice was plentiful and cooked well with bits of seasoning throughout which is typical for the cuisine. It is neither better or worse than the rice I’ve had before.
The Mango Lassi was rather disgusting and not at all creamy. It is very watered down in both taste and texture. Typically treated like a dessert treat for me, this was not at all pleasant to drink. If this was mmfirst one ever it would be the last.
I don't know if my meal was typical for this business, a bad day or just the end of the day but it was not worth the money.

"First time trying this place, what a gem! The tuna poke bowl with salad was delicious, flavorful and craveable. It came with a good amount of fresh cut tuna, arugula, seaweed salad, crab salad, half an avocado, delicious pickled ginger, sweet corn, diced cucumbers and it was perfectly dressed with an Asian dressing. "This is the best pad Thai in Salem. I've literally tried it all. It always arrives pipping hot and the ingredients always taste fresh. Some places on doordash dont even let you choose your spice level, which should be a crime. I love spicy food and have a high tolerance. I always add 3 or 4 stars for spice and it clears the sinuses--Thai Cuisine of Salem doesn't mess around when it comes to giving their food that extra kick. They don't overdo it with the sweet flavoring--it's the perfect blend of sweet, savory and heat. I'm drooling just talking about it. I usually get beef for my protein and it's always perfectly cooked and seasoned--nice and tender.
I know they're expensive. I promise it's worth it. I'm always disappointed when I order Pad Thai anywhere else and always regret not ordering from Thai Cuisine of Salem. They hook you up with a generous portion.
