"5/5
I order from Dilli Wala regularly and the food never disappoints. Always fresh, packed with bold, authentic flavor, and cooked to perfection. The night staff is super attentive and gets every detail right. Easily one of the best restaurants on DoorDash — consistently delicious and reliable!"
"Ridiculous, will never recommend to anyone. The taste of the food never goes with the restaurant name. Yesterday i ordered chilli potato and samosa from there. When i was ordering i was womdering why 2 piece samosa is for 6 dollars. Then i thought it would be good just like the delhi samosa but when i recieved it....it was like this traingle samosa shown in pitcure. It was very disappointing to see that they charge 6 dollars for these 2 small samosa which is easily available at datta food co. For 1 dollar 5 pieces. And the chilli potato was like pathetic. It looked like they have made the fries in the morning and when order received they just put masala and veggies and packed, as there were no gravy also. Chilli potato is supposed to be hot fresh and gravy. Being from delhi, i know how chilli potato should be.
There is no option of 0 rating otherwise i would have given that.
If owner is reading requesting him to please atop fooling people or degarding the name of delhi. Delhi has much more delicious food than you offer."

"I don't know much about curry but this was great. A bit hot for me, but not for my son.! I mistook a dessert as a main course ( labels please) but it was fine with the rice. We were going to have a picnic on my bed. I got lamb biryani. The outside wrapping paper is beautiful but the seal on the bottom opened up & Tons of saffron rice biryani fell all over my bed! They do not say this side up-Open on the bottom! If only. It was still warmish hot. It was a huge amount of rice. More than 2 slender adults could eat at once. I woke up today wanting to eat some more this morning. Im not really a rice person, but this was flavoured so well. The biryani did not look like the photo and I didn't know what went with it as not indicated. The other dishes weren't labelled either. I don't know if we had everything if not. I hope so as it was expensive and more to the point, I wanted to try everything.
I can only assume everything was fresh as a lot of spice and sauce can cover up the basic lamb flavour. These all worked well together. I did not know what the white sauce was but it was a bit like thinned yogurt. Too bad they didn't include a container those coloured seeds- fennel or caraway?to have afterwards-like fortune cookies are added to Chinese orders. It woukd be a nice touch. I got lamb curry but no vegetables! and a huge, salted, flour frisbee round of flat bread that gets hard as it cools. It was fun! It was very messy for us, so have a roll of paper towels there or a stack of napkins-lots of ironing later lol
The very best? the Mango Lassi! Gorgeous jewel orange ! I could have drunk so many more. It is perfect if the food is too hot! Perfect anyway! I don't know what percentage fat is in the thick yogurt but who cares when it's that good! Everything was very well wrapped. The lassi was sideways and not a drop spilled. There were huge straws but no opening in the lids which are flat bottomed bowls.
Not sure what you do with the bowl.
Sure,a ton of plastic wrap and aluminum foil is used. I hope it's recyclable.
We really enjoyed these courses. I have only had curry with vegetables in a meat curry-they were awol-not great for me. I didn't recognize most of the dishes compared to the photos, so I can't indicate a thumb direction. Labels needed. We enjoyed it all and are going to have some watching Nor vs Por lol Cheers!
NB:At least it wasn't a Tim's delivery with the tray dripping wet. Door Dash does not like making refunds no matter if it's groceries (esp) or food. They red flag you &/or say they will get back to you after consideration! Into the ether and no refunds! Despite photos etc."
"Mango lassi was 10/10. Not too sweet, tasted like if a mishti doi was made into a lassi. SO GOOD. The biryani was filled to the brim, and so well priced! Super aromatic and GENEROUSLY spiced, it reminded me of home! "

"I have now ordered the lamb biryani twice in the last week. The first time was because I had a late night craving. The second was because I liked it so much the first time.
It is a generous portion for two (unless, like me, you hate to share treasures like lamb biryani). The lamb is very tender. Mix it up before you eat it because then you get all the flavour - tasty, not greasy.
This one comes with a boiled egg too, and at medium spicy it was the perfect level of spice for someone who has grown up with spicy food. If you are not used to spice, order mild because you can always add hot sauce."
"Horrible, lamb kadai was almost indigestible and the curry to roti ratio was more disproportionate than anything. As for the potato curry, although it was edible, I would not even feed it to my worst enemy. Not authentic Indian at all."

"the samosa tasted ok but there was only a thin layer of the potato and veggies inside. I got 2 big but very flat samosas which is ridiculous considering I paid $11 for 2. stop being so cheap and fill up the inside of guys. was also kind of pastey"

"Rara Mutton was zesty and tasty but not so different than a typical mutton curry, not very unique but still a good dish. Fish Tawa was also delicious but a little salty and not like the picture shown. Picture shows fried fish steaks the dish is actually battered fish fillets fried in a tomato and onion gravy. The meat of both was thoroughly cooked and had a good umami taste, and the gravies were also delectable. Portions were also decent for their price and well packed. The food was hot to the touch when it arrived. We frequent this place a lot and often order from here in emergencies or on special events as we know the food will be prepared promptly with care and a high professional standard."

"We have decided that this is by far the best Indian food delivery we have had in Toronto. The generously-sized bhaji was crisp, not greasy, and full of onions . The butter chicken order contained a generous number of big pieces of chicken in a lovely sauce. The naan was big and beautiful. The mango lassi was large and very tasty. We have leftovers because there was so much gorgeous food."
"The quantity and quality of the food here is amazing! Have dined-in and ordered from here and both experiences have been pleasant.
Dinner for 2 can be had by 3-4 people it is an amazing deal. The Stuffed Kulcha Naan is very very filling and is fresh and soft. The Goan Fish Curry doesn't taste very authentic but is good on its own accord."

"Excellent flavors.
We're vegetarian :
We did for lunch today
- Methi Malay paneer was very creamy and soothing with Tandon Garlic Naan.
- Brilliant medium masala flavorness and miced in butteriness of onion in Gravy Soya Chaap
- Veg Biryani was spicy and delicious.
Order took abit time to prepare, but the wait was totally worth it.
I'd highly Recommended garlic naans it was 5x better than butter naan.

"Bawara’s Ajmeri Style Biryani was a complete disappointment. We even called the restaurant beforehand to confirm the quantity, but the portion of rice and goat pieces was very small. "Kalyug is one of my favorite restaurants in Canada. The food always reminds me of home, and honestly, I haven’t found a better taste anywhere else. The quality, flavor, and authenticity are outstanding. For me, Kalyug deserves a full 5-star rating.
I would just like to suggest a couple of small improvements. First, my order did not include disposable cutlery. It would be helpful if cutlery were included with takeout and delivery orders. Even if there is a small extra charge for it, I would not mind paying.
Second, the spicy sauce and the pickled onions (vinegar-marinated onions) were provided in very small quantities. These sides add a lot to the overall meal experience, and it would be great if a little more could be included, especially for regular customers.
Other than these minor suggestions, everything was excellent. The food is consistently delicious, the portions are satisfying, and the taste truly feels like home. I can honestly say that I haven’t had better Indian food anywhere else in Canada. Kalyug has earned my 5-star rating, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic, home-style food"

"It was just a worst experience for me. I ordered 2 Mysore masala dosa. 1 is fully burnt and taste bitter. Likewise another is also little burnt and taste bitter. "I recently visited Planet Punjab, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant has a warm and inviting ambiance, with decor that reflects Punjabi culture. The service was attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even better.
The food was the highlight—rich, flavorful, and truly authentic. I tried the butter chicken, which had a perfect balance of creaminess and spice, and the dal makhani, which was slow-cooked to perfection"

"I always order pickup from this restaurant, The portions are incredibly generous, the Indian food is fresh, flavorful, and consistently high quality. The restaurant itself is spotless, clean, and very well maintained. Great food, great value, and reliable quality every time. Definitely one of my go-to spots for Indian food! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
"Desi Chowmein, Chilli Chicken with Rice, and Hot & Sour Soup: Fresh and taste good. But I am very disappointed with the small portions and small takeout containers. I would not order these food items again. Other Hakka-Indian restaurants on DoorDash charge just as much for BOGO and provide bigger portions and bigger takeout containers."

"The dishes are exquisite, especially the Lamb Korma and the Vegetable Korma. The naan and paratha were also well-made and buttery. I really enjoyed all the dishes, and it's our new favorite Indian!"
"Marigold Indian Bistro delivered a solid meal. The Butter Chicken and Daal Makhni were both fresh and flavorful, and the delivery was impressively fast. While the food quality was good, I found the amount of chicken in the butter chicken to be just fair for the price—I was hoping for a bit more based on some reviews. Overall, it’s a reliable spot for a tasty, hot dinner."

"I got the Palak Paneer, the Lamb or Beef Curry (w/ beef), and the Chicken Vindaloo. I ordered a Mild-to-Medium heat level, but I feel like I should have ordered straight-up Medium, because it was very easy on the palate. Very good flavours, good portion size, and very well packaged. Expecting good things from the South Indian Paratha (1)! Also, extremely fair price on the can of Coke/Soft Drink 💯"
"This is my absolute favourite Indian restaurant ever. I've tried so many in Toronto and across Ontario and I can confidently say this is the most flavourful and fresh food I've had. I always order the butter chicken, naan bread and rice and often times add other items but EVERYTHING is 10/10. Highly recommend!!!"

"Hi I ordered from Dhillions today for the first time. I ordered Lal Maas which is a particular favourite dish of mine!!! Love its richness and Heat.
This order was very very good---- believe me I can give you a run down on all the take out restaurants who offer this dish--- 90% do not have any punch/flavour-heat.
I am definitely hooked!!! I hope you keep it up!! Its a delight to get what one wants right off the first order!!
Call me for references anytime!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!"
"This is some of the best take away Indian food I've had in Toronto. The Karahi chicken was incredible, tandoori chicken was so moist, the chutney that came with the papadum was outstanding and some of the best raita I've tasted! 10/10 can't wait to order again"

"I just love their Chicken 65 Biryani Solo Pack perfect taste with masala and aromatic biryani rice. Their customer service for DoorDash orders is amazing and very supportive. They compensated me with one extra biryani which was stolen from the dasher. Really appreciate it. The quantity is enough for one person to eat two times a day with BOGO offer! "
"They are misleading customers by calling this a BOGO offer. They simply split one dish into two halves and call it “Buy One Get One.” The taste was also really bad, and there were hardly any chicken pieces in the dish. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and definitely not worth the money. I will never order from this restaurant again."

I ordered a combo with this meal and there was approximately four small pieces of goat in the roti. the doubles are always good size."
"I ordered a buy one get one deal . I got one Combo Roti or rice, Doubles, & Pop and the same but with curry goat and rice . They definitely did not add enough meat for the price . In total I got 3 pieces in my meal which is ridiculous . I got more rice than anything . On top of that was this supposed to be a salad cause what is 2 pieces of cucumber and 1 tomato going to do. Doubles I ordered as well was better than the whole meal ."

"The Samosa Chana was tasty, but the samosas in the sauce were soggy. Would much rather have had them on the side. I give it a 2/5.
The Lamb Vindaloo was tasty. I did have to add some hot sauce, because even though I ordered spicy, it was barely medium. 4/5"
"Amritsari kulcha was so soggy and so chewy all made up of flour couldnt feel any stuffing inside I even called and asked them to make it fresh and spicy but it was below average. Even the curd felt bitter."
